  1. Promotion Wars 1.3 was the last version released, and you manually select winners and match endings. Unfortunately I'm not sure where you'd get it nowadays. 5GG were hosting all the downloads for awhile.

  2. Can anyone help with this section? I'm inside an Oblivion Gate, killed pretty much everything walking but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get up the tower. There are a number of other towers round the main one (Hurricane, Tornado, Landslide, Earthquake, Eruption and Tsunami) most of which had gate switches in them, but the walkways from these all join the main tower a level too low. This is the second gate I've had with this setup and its really irritating since this time its stopping me getting the main quest done. <_< Any help gratefully recieved!

  3. You didn't do it. (Y)

Its a hardware fault, mine did the same. Do you have the Red lights of Death yet? If not it might run on and off for a while. After that its either a case of contacting Xbox Customer Support to send it for repair or swap it where you bought it if they have a decent warranty length.

  4. Since the game seems to be moving to a first person perspective the Real Time combat is going to be necessary, and besides 90% of the time in Fallout you have to fall back on Firearms so it'll be a good bit more action packed to get to do it yourself, instead of cursing your lack of talents in Gatling Lasers ¬_¬

There are tons of first person, turn based games. Did you never own a Nintendo? All the old roleplaying games used to be first person and turn based. Besides, even though the game is being developed in first person, they've supposedly put a lot of work into third person. A lot of the screenshots of the game feature the over the shoulder camera, ala RE Four or Crackdown, but the game also can simulate the exact same camera angle from the old games. How the movement of the camera, locking, and general functions works hasn't been revealed, but I definitely will be playing combat from the third person perspective if indeed it's as good as has been promised.

Hopefully the area is based around the first two games and not Fallout Tactics, I'd love to stroll around Junktown, The Hub and New Reno.

I'm really looking forward to this anyway, got the trailer and picture pack off of Xbox Live and I played all the previous games and liked them all (the bastard spawn that came to the consoles doesn't count as far as I'm concerned).

  6. Apologies for the double post but didn't think it was worth starting a new topic for.

Is anybody interested in co-oping through on Hardcore or Insane with me? My friends don't really play Gears and I'm struggling to progress with the AI buddy.

  7. As I constantly have the threat of a prison sentence and a hefty fine hanging over me for selling games to underage children this kinda thing is really important to me.

I've had parents coming in and buying Manhunt and then handing it to their 7 year old kid. It REALLY REALLY angers me and frankly such parents should be given the same punishment as I'd receive (year in prison, £6000 fine).

If you're 18 it's up to you. Irresponsible salesfolk and parents are dragging everyone down.

Still, for me Manhunt's stupid and pointless and disgusting anyway.

Aren't you covered byt he fact you are selling it to the parent? What they choose to do with it (whether it be keep it or hand it over to a child) is their responsibilty rathert han yours. Isn't it?
