Never a red...
Refereeing in the Prem seems especially horrible this year.
-
What a terrible game.
-
City are woeful.

The problem with the qualification is that you can enter it even if you've already qualified. Meaning you still have a reasonable chance to meet the no lifers even though they're already through.
Qualifying through Division 1 was way less stressful (though I'm back stuck in D2 now). Once you're in, it's fairly easy to make Gold 3 (if you have time to play the games), which auto qualifies you for the next week.

Conversely, it's the best FIFA I've played and most definitely the only one in recent memory that has kept me occupied beyond a month or so.

Yeah, it's ridiculous how AI assisted the defending is.
Sold my entire Premier League squad for about 300k. Did the Parolo SBC and spent all my remaining coins on the 50k packs for a laugh. Got precisely no one I wanted to use .
I did, however, get an IF Falcao from a gold upgrade SBC and have put togethed a nice little Serie A/Bundesliga hybrid, spearheaded by Falcao. Way more fun than playing with the usual BPL team. Insigne/Falcao/Cuadrado make for an awesome front 3, and SBC Parolo is a beast.

Ugh, weekend league is such a slog. Gameplay feels sluggish and terrible.
Just played a guy who was using a Bundesliga team that consisted of SBC Douglas Costa, TOTGS Lewandowski, IF Reus, Neuer etc etc. Literally the best 11 Bundesliga players you could find.
He had 3 shots to my 14 and I hit the post 3 times, so naturally he beat me 2-0. Just for good measure, he also brought on Ronaldo and Bale at Half Time. Dude must have spent a fortune on the game, only to be playing in my very average ELO
Gonna sell my whole squad after this Weekend League I think. Getting pretty bored of playing with Prem players, especially as 8/10 games are also against Prem teams.

Played a division 1 game earlier where the guy had a bunch of silver players.
Needless to say, I got battered

Pogbowl hype.

Next four games;
Palace, West Brom, Sunderland, Middlesbrough.
Has to be four wins really, and the table might look at bit better come New Year.
-
Top dive that.

Should've gone.
Barry could've walked for two yellows on another day as well.

Just picked this up because I have no will power.
Any decent badge/kits/faces packs out yet?

Maybe he should, it could totally change the way Man Utd play having a different type of player as the focal point.
He's going to have games where he's not as effective as he could be, he's 19 and playing against an elite team with an elite defence. Cut him some slack.
I'm not sure where the need is for cutting him any slack here? 2 of us said he played shit today. He did. No one is saying he's terrible, isn't generally playing OK or anything like that.

And people wonder why every young English players' game regresses after their first season as they start to play within themselves so they don't make mistakes...
Yes, better not say someone had a shit game when they had a shit game.
Besides, my comment was aimed more at United supporters who have been clamouring for Rashford to play centrally and Zlatan to be dropped.
-
Oh look, the great white hope Rashford plays shit all game then costs us a goal.
-
Don't think it was a penalty if I'm honest, but it looked like one in real time. Not sure how the ref managed to not give it, especially from his view. I'd give him credit for a good decision but he probably just guessed and hoped as usual.

Premier League is back .
And Arsenal are gonna thump us today
Also, if Jurgen Klopp could just stop being so damn likeable, that'd be great.

Finally qualified for the Weekend League. At the first attempt this week, too.
I'm especially pleased as I played really well in the final against a guy who seemed quite good. Got a lucky break for my goal but I definitely deserved to win - would have been annoyed at losing in another final.

The real tragedy of this year's FIFA is Loic Remy's comically high rating.

Positioning is fucking terrible though. The amount of goals I've conceded because my AI controlled RB literally RUNS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION to open up a gap for their striker is unbelievable. I don't think I've encountered anyone parking the bus yet, or maybe I just don't pay enough attention because I usually dominate most games in an attacking sense anyway. I switch to Ultra Attacking straight from kick off 99% of the time because otherwise the attacking support is useless. It leaves gaps in behind that are vulnerable to the counter but I'm quite good at last ditch defending anyway so...
Not finding this at all to be honest. I start most games on Defensive mentality (since everyone plays 4-3-3 with some variation of the same pacey strikers up front), and I haven't found it overly difficult going forward. Still scoring plenty of goals.
The absolute worst thing about FIFA is that when people win the ball back in defense, they can just spam the pass button to find a player. This leads to even the most Robert Huth-like of defenders performing 180 first time passes straight into their front two.
Just won Division 3 on FUT seasons. Feeling way out of my league now.

Discovered my new favourite thing...
These pricks who Park The Bus from kick off and play Counter. If I go 1-0 up and they continue with Park The Bus, I have no issue in keeping possession inside my own half. Made two people quit today because they refuse to not play Park The Bus, even when behind. Even had one guy search me out on PSN just to rage about it. Apparently my mother is a 'stinky whore', who knew?

Victor Anichebe playing on with a cracked rib to help his team win the game. Massive Babyface.
But was he put on a stretcher only to heroically push aside the medical staff and soldier on? If not, how are we supposed to know how he overcame all the odds?

Ah, the trend of average keepers having blinders at Old Trafford is set to continue I see.
