Yes, the 3 best players in the world are the standard we should set for all incoming transfers o_O

When you're calling someone "phenomenal", yes.

For the record, I think Mane is a decent signing for Liverpool. Overpriced, but that's largely because Southampton don't need to sell.

  2. I was as frustrated as anyone with last night's performance, but the papers this morning are hilarious in their negativity.

Yes we shouldn't be making 6 changes, and the players who came in were mostly poor, but we're still in the next round and likely facing one of the weaker sides. Everyone seems to be freaking out about playing France in the quarters. They've not exactly lit up the tournament themselves and did we really imagine we'd get beyond the quarters without having to beat anyone of note?

So now Albania will have to sit on their arses for three days to find out if they're through to the next round (not likely), with no clue on who they should be planning their next (not likely) match against. lol.

On the plus side, unless Ukraine miraculously become competent and win their game against Poland, Northern Ireland only need one more third place team to screw up and they're through to the last 16. Could happen as early as tomorrow night if Slovakia lose and Wales hold Russia to a draw.

How are Northern Ireland guaranteed to finish ahead of Albania already? They're both on 3 points aren't they? Would it not come down to goal difference?

  4. So what separates teams on the same points here? Is it head to head or goal difference?

BBC live text said Ukraine could be out of the tournament tonight. I don't see how when 3 points in third could be enough?

You're supposed to not particularly care for Tommen anyway. I don't know about hate him, but the point is that he's an ineffective, weak king who is easily influenced by whoever's in his ear. First it was his mother, now it's Margaery and the Faith. He goes whichever way the wind blows because he's indecisive, inexperienced and thus easy to manipulate.

Also, I didn't catch this, but someone said re: Arya..

When Arya rolled through all those carts down the stairs, she smeared pomegranate juice on herself to appear more wounded? That makes sense. That whole time I was sitting there wondering why the hell she could still run and fight if she was so badly injured, but if she was faking it to draw the Waif into a trap, I get it.

    Re: your spoiler...

Yep, that's what happened. When Arya crashed down the steps the camera focused in on the fruit getting squashed by her hands. Then it lingered on the wall each time she touched something, so Arya was definitely doing it to lead the Waif into her trap.

I'm still trying to work out how getting stabbed in the stomach was part of her plan though.

As for why Jaqen let her go, respect maybe? Did he ever kill the third person he promised her?

Either way, the many faced god got the lives he was "owed". Both the actress and the waif died.
