  1. You want to talk about talent on offense? Then you talk about the Michigan Wolverines.

You got your Chad Henne at Quarterback. 2,743 Yards, 25 TDs, and 60% completion percentage. You got your Michael Hart at Tailback. Hart, rushed for 1,455 yards. Keep in mind, that in his first two games, he rushed for 37 yards on 8 carries. So he averaged 140.8 yards over his final 10 games. Mind you, Henne & Hart were both true freshman.

  2. It's still asinine. They're the first mid-major conference school to PLAY in a major bowl, and even though they WON it, not only are they not starting the season in the top 25, Pitt starts out 25th! I don't care who you lose, you win a major bowl, you should at LEAST be ranked higher than the team you beat in said bowl, end of story.

  3. Also, there was an episode of ER with Ray Liotta in it that actually got me full-on to tears. I can't remember the details, but Liotta is an ex-con drifter who comes into the hospital...he's in really bad shape, and when given the option of going on dialasys for the rest of his life, or dying, he decides to refuse treatment. At one point, they contact his only relative, his son, and put him on speaker phone in the OR so that Liotta can talk to him, and while everyone is standing around, the son basically tells his dying father that he has nothing to say to him, and hangs up. That was avsolutely brutal, and one of the saddest things I have EVER seen.
  4. Even though I'm an American, I hope NYC doesn't get it. The US has four Olympics in the past 25 years, time to share. And I certainly don't want New York City getting them as they are the most obnoxius city on earth and have developed some sorta since of entitlement since 9/11. (IE: Them about to get the 2009 SuperBowl)

  5. I preface by saying I know nothing about cycling. That being said, in the past, I've noticed that Lance has usually laid back in the field and then took over in the mountain stages. With Lance already having the lead this early, can only mean good things for Lance, as he attempts to take the Tour to "Heaven in Seven" (TM: Muhammad Ali)
