Stephen King's The Dark Tower

Well for all you Stephen King or Dark Tower fans on September 21st, 2004 The Dark Tower series comes to an end with the release of The Dark Tower VII: The Dark Tower.

Stephen King will be on NBC's Today Show on Monday September 20th were he will probably be talking about DT7.

So this thread will be I guess for hype of The Dark Tower VII and all the past memories of The Dark Tower storyline wether it be from the DT books or other King books.

So feel free to talk about your favorite moments, excitement for the last book and anything else.

For those of us like myself ignorant to the book series, can someone provide a brief overview or perhaps a link to one so that I can read what it's about and maybe purchase the series?

Yeah, I've seen these at my local Hastings, but I've got no clue what the storyline's like or anything. The front cover art's pretty cool, though.
