Macaulay Culkin charged after drug arrest

Former child star Macaulay Culkin has been charged with two misdemeanor drug counts in Oklahoma City, America - and could face up to two years in jail. The Home Alone actor and a pal were arrested on Friday after police discovered marijuana and a dangerous controlled substance without a prescription in their rental car. Yesterday Oklahoma City prosecutors charged the troubled star, who is free after posting a $4,000 bond. No court date has been set. Traffic cops were alerted to the vehicle - in which Culkin was a passenger - when it sped passed at 70 miles per hour in a 60 miles per hour speed zone and made an improper lane change.

Agh, this pisses me off to no end. Just another way for the media to give people something to laugh about all while still pushing this ridiculous drug war. The whole point of this is to make you go "Oh look, he got busted for pot, that's hilarious!" All while forgetting that we should be FIGHTING TERRORISM!!! The Drug War... as Bill Maher likes to call it, the Hundred Years War... what a fucking waste of our tax dollars and the ultimate distraction to the world's REAL problems. But hey, we got Cat Stevens and Macaulay Culkin, the world is safe again!
