anime question

this has been on my mind for such a long time.

has anyone ever seen a football anime? i used to watch one when i was younger, i remember that in the first episode, the lead character (i think his name is tom) gets hit in the face with a ball. and after that he joins a team and they play against teams that had at lease one super player . . . like in one of the episodes, i remember seeing a pair of twins running up the goal posts and then scoring.

well my questions are . . . has anyone seen that anime and what's the name of it?

I don't remember that, but I remember the TV Show/Comic, "The Hurricanes" of a football team... ah what a show it was... sorry you just reminded me ^_^

Oh yeah, I remember that. Captain Tsubasa. The first anime I ever saw. It was great, I loved it when I was a kid.
