Just got an N64 with No Mercy for £15, and it's turning out to be quite the bargain. One problem though, I can't seem to climb the turnbuckles, I've been told it's C-left, but all that does is get me out onto the apron, or to the outside of the ring. Please don't just tell me to look at GameFAQS, because I looked there and all they tell me is the button press, which I can't get to work.

I'd try and give more explanation, but I haven't played No Mercy in a year or so, so I've forgotten if there is anything more specific to climbing the buckles.

C-down and towards the corner will make you run at it and climb it. IIRC, if you hold it, you will stay on the top and can jump when you let go of it.

You didn't get the version that had a bug in the career did you? it wipes your career out all the time, pain in the ass, resulted in me putting the game to rest after about a week.

No problem in career mode so far, but if it is fucked, I'm taking it back.

The Career glitch drove me insane. Every 2 or 3 months it would delete all my CAWs, my career and I would lose all my unlocked items.

But the game is still great, I played a 4 way ladder match with 3 friends and it went almost 2 hours because no one concentrated on the Belt.

I think so. If you can't, it was a Tag Team Ladder match. Still fun, though.

When the game was still being sold, copies that had that damned memory glitch could be returned for working copies. I was happy when my game didn't get erased, but then I discovered that in the "fixed" version, another glitch arose in which a title defended in a Royal Rumble match of any rules becomes vacant (a picture of The Rock with no name underneath appears on the title select screen in Exhibition).

Still, I rate No Mercy as the greatest...

No it's round the corner. Leave St Georges Centre by the main entrance (Onto the highstreet) Walk straight forward as far as you can, you'll go past the statue of the skipping girl (Wtf is that?) and will be standing outside of Time night club, (If you go on a saturday say hello to the christian lady who screams bible passages out) turn to the left and walk forward again, you'll go past a Nandos, a barclays bank, a games workshop and a subway, next shop is Computer Exchange (opposite debenhams)

I am from East London, cor blimey luv a duck etc, but my girlfriend lives up at Rayners Lane, so I frequent that part of London regularly. Well, when she is home from Uni anyway.

I hate it when the Met line isnt running and I have to get the Picadilly line. It takes forever

But I digress. I shall look for it when I am next up there, which will probably be next week sometime. Hooorah!

I've actually been thinking about buying an N64, for this game. I haven't played it, but I remember loving WCW/NWO Revenge, so I assume No Mercy is much better. I just wouldn't want to spend alot of money on a system for only two games, if I could find a good deal I'd give a shot. I would however also like to own WCW/NWO Revenge, it's easily one of my favorite rosters of all-time in a wrestling video game.
