Davenport Feeds Sharapova A Double Bagel

Lindsey Davenport just beat WORLD # 3 Maria Sharaova 6-0, 6-0 in the Pacific Life Open Semis in 50 minutes. The first set was over in 19 no less! Having said that, I'd put money on Clijsters beating Lindsey in the final tomorrow. Final match stats to ponder . . . Davenport won 52 of 75 total points, 27 of 41 on Sharapova's serve and only faced one break point the whole match. This was an ass whooping the likes of which I don't think I've ever seen when two top ranked players were both healthy. Did anybody else watch this massacre?

They didn't show this match in the UK.

I don't believe, that must be a hard loss to take.

I was just about to change my sig to a Maria one.

And in other news, I think everyone was gutted when Agassi pulled out, that match was going to be awesome.

I wish Sky Sports had the rights to the women's tennis as well, Eurosport sucks.
