Blitz's Video Game Woes

[Blitz]

- I have a Playstation 2, and need to keep it solely for NCAA Football 2005, Madden NFL 2005 and NBA Live 2005 so I can keep my diaries going.

- I have to use a cleaning disc nearly everytime I want to play it.

- I have a Gamecube that I haven't played in seven or eight months.

- I want to buy an X-Box, but don't know if it would be worth it with the new systems coming out pretty soon.

Xbox 2 or Xenon or whatever comes out in November I believe so I'm not sure I would buy an Xbox. I suppose it's up to you.

How much do you think I could get for a Gamecube, two regular controllers, a Wavebird and eighteen games? That would surley be about $100 or more, right?

it would REALLY depend on the games, considering I'd expect you to get $50 for the system and controllers(incl. wavebird) so...

As far as the system goes, you'd probably be better off selling it on eBay. Any game store you go to needs to buy it at a price low enough so they can re-sell it at a profit; and considering a new GC goes for about $100, you would be lucky to get $50 for it, whereas on eBay you could easily get $50 for just the GC (I got mine for $57 total).

For a BROKEN PS2 at EB, I got $75 bucks. Just an example. 18 games and the system I would think would fetch for $150.

Save up 150 dollars and buy the new slim Ps2. I've had one for over 6 months and it's never stopped working or frozen up. It works great since you put games in it like you would for the PS1.
