I'm from a non-biast perspective. If you look at what I said, and ignore what bookmakers said (which was only said because Hatton's quality opponents haven't been that great, ahyd he fought just a lil higher calibur fighters, he would have been easily ahead) why do you think it took till he had over 30 wins to get a shot while most usually get a shot around the mid 20's, because his opponents weren't up to the standard of which the US have.

If Hatton was fighting actively in the US and more top bookies got better exposure to him, he would have had the odds on his sid.

I'm rewatching the Hatton/Collazo bout and I've got to say I've been impressed by Hatton and Collazo both. Despite the loss, Collazo really gave a good account of himself and he'll certainly be a bigger draw now than he was before. Hatton, while his style is not at all pretty, is an extremely effective fighter and I could see him getting through a few more big contenders over here. I do think however, that he would not beat Mayweather or even De La Hoya(if he fights like he did against Mayorga) right now, but that's not to say that his style wouldn't cause big problems.
