Winners: Brian Kendrik & Paul London @ 11:26

Rating: ***1/2 for the third match. No Rating for the second, and ** for the first.

Thoughts: A Fun way to open the show. I was able to get eight guys on ppv in the first 20 minutes, and they all worked hard. The endings of all three matches can lead to more angles and stories out of these four teams. As each team has a gripe as to thier loses. Bently/Kazerian and London/Kendrik work well together, and that's a possible tag team riverly right there.

Thoughts: Strong second match to the PPV. They where able to put on a good, energetic showing, and the crowd was pretty into it. Rey may have won this one, but that doesn't mean Petey is done with Mysterio. Look forward to future encounters between the two.

X-Factor gets a taste of Old School

Steve Corino heads to ring, unannounced and without any music playing. He looks rather ticked off, and demands a microphone apon entering the ring. Slowly the ring announcer obliges, and Corino takes the microphone from him, and surveys the crowd.

Steve Corino: Wow! So this is what being on Pay Per View is like!? It's been so damn long...ya know I almost forgot. And seeing as the PWX booking committe couldn't find a spot for me on this here pay per view...I decided to take matters into my own hands. So I am the reason, not the jack-off suits in the back, no...I am the reason that this here event, is getting a little taste of Old School. Ya see...the PWX officials, think that what fans want now-a-days, is to see a couple of five footers flipping around inside these ropes like a bunch of gymnasts. They feel...that you don't want a taste of Old School. But I, The King of Old School Steve Corino, disagree. I know what you people really want is old school, hard knocks wrestling. So I'm here to give it too you. So seeing as I wasn't booked for a match tonight, I'm going to book myself. Charlie Haas! C.W. isn't here tonight, and neither is your buddy Jamie Nob...oops..sorry, James Gibson. Whatever he's calling himself. He's not here either...so it's just me...and you. So get your ass out here, and we can give these fans a taste of that old school favoring.

After several seconds Charlie Haas steps through the entrance way, and makes his way to the ring. Corino has already dropped the mic, and is awaiting Haas' entry into the ring. Haas enters and Corino immediatly attacks. Throwing punches at Haas. He has Haas reeling, until Charlie blocks one of his punches, and starts returning punches of his own. CW Anderson appears jumping out of the crowd and slides into the ring, he forearms Haas from behind and knocks him down. He and Corino start stomping away at Haas until...

"Viva' La Rasa!" hits the speakers, and Chavo Guerrero Jr runs down the rampway! He slides in the ring and clotheslines Corino to the mat. CW attacks him, but Haas has regained his composure and he nails CW from behind, then clotheslines him outside the ring. Chavo then grabs Corrino and hits the Three Amigos, but the third one is a Brainbuster! Chavo goes uptop and hits a Frog Splash! on Corino. Chavo grabs the microphone that still sits in the ring.

Chavo Guerrero Jr: You wanna talk about "old school"? You've just been dealt with...The Guerrero way!

Chavo drops the micraphone and poses for the crowd. Haas and he embrace, and the two men head back to the dressing room.

Rating: 6/10

Winners and NEW PWX World Tag Team Champions: Jerry Lynn & Chris Sabin @ 14:33

Rating: ****

Thoughts: These two duos blended magically together. I loved the chemistry they have in the ring together. Both Sabin and Lynn like the idea of being a team together, which is good. Genertaion neXt is progressing nicely, and this loss will effect thier demeanor and characters a little, which is good for the faction. The finish also leaves things open for some debate on Shelley and Strong's side. These two teams certainly aren't through with eachother.

Business As Usual

Backstge we see Steve Corino and CW Anderson being held apart from Chavo Guerrero and Charlie Haas, when PWX Commissioner Jerry Lawler enters the picture and gets int he middle.

Jerry Lawler Enough of this already! I don't want to hear another word out of any of you, got it?

Steve Corino Sneaky little basterd needs to try that stuff he pulled again!

Jerry Lawler Do you want me to suspend your ass!? Cause I will! Look...I'm a very busy man, the Aries and Funk matchup is next, and I need to make sure none of those Genertaion neXt rejects interfers in it. You four want to kill eachother...fine! Next week on Action!, you guys can have a tag match, and you can kill eachother all you want for all I care. OK!? Hell...I'll even make it a street fight if you want, I don't care. Just get out of my sight right now!

Corino and CW both smirk, and back off, leaving Haas and Guerrero still calling them on. Lawler shakes his head and walks away.

Rating: 6/10

Thoughts: Again, didn't come accross as hoped. But I'm not worried about it. This PPV is all about the athletic displays put in by these athletes, a few subpar segments aren't a concern.

The masked man geos to unmask...then stops...and points behind Lawler, Jerry turns around and we see Roderick Strong and Alex Shelley standing there smiling. Shelley has a video camera and is video taping what's going down. Lawler looks surpsied, and he drops the mic, and then turns back to the ring. Bret Hart has gotten to his feet, and the masked man turns around and labels him with a clothesline! He then rips off his mask to reveal...Teddy Hart! It's Teddy Hart! Bret looks up in disbeleif at his younger relative, as Aries has gotten back in the ring and is loving it. Aries climbs up after him and hits the 450 Splash on Funk. Teddy has grabbed a microphone and gets right in Bret's face.

Teddy Hart: Do your job Bret...for once in your miserable life...do the job! Count him..now!

Bret just leaves the ring and walks up the rampway, ignoring Shelley and Strong who are making fun of his as he passes them. Genertaion neXt and Teddy Hart celebrate in the aisle as we go to a video of the rivarly between Christian Cage and Christopher Daniels.

Winner: Austin Aries @ 12:13

Rating: **1/2

Thoughts: Wasn't expecting a wrestling clinic in this one, has this match was all about the storyline and not so much about the match. They did put on a watchable match though, and the crowd seemed to be entertained throughout. The addition of Teddy Hart to the roster brings some questions, both angle wise and from a locker room stand point, but overall I liked the way it played out.

"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels -vs- "Captain Charisma" Christian Cage

They lock up and both men seem to shove the other away, they staredown at eachother and both talk a little smack. A little bit of stalling and walking around by both men, another lock up and Daniels shoves Cage away. They exchange words and are now nose to nose, really yelling in eachother faces. They lock up and Daniels with a go behind, he pulls Cage's legs out and drops him to the mat, then leaps over and applies a headlock to the downed Cage. Winner and NEW PWX World Heavyweight Champion: AJ Styles! @ 38:14

Rating: ****

Thoughts: Welcome to PWX Mr. Cornette. Carry the torch Mr. Styles. Both where very easy to say earlier tonight. Now I realise there was a strong push to end the first PPV by giving the fans what they wanted to see, a Chris Jericho victory. I, for one, have always been a fan of a good "Face chasing heel champion" storyline, and think that's one of the better ways to really help get the title over. Styles is the perfect "young lion" to have help lead PWX out of the gate. He already has enough of a following to keep the fans interested, and his inring performaces should help him gain more of a following and get the newer fans to tune in. Add a known wrestling personality like Cornette with him, and people should care.

Final Anylasis: Only one of the main hyped matches delivered below ***, how can you complain about that? There where a few moments that didn't "click", but overall everyone worked hard and it's a good start.

Final Rating: I'd put it around a strong B. So we'll say a it's just into B+ territorry.

Final Thoughts: A good way to introduce PWX to the PPV audience in my book. Ending the show with three heel victories is a little unorthidox I agree, but there where reasons for all the outcomes. Only having two championships for the time being makes them seem even more important, but there are plans for a third title to be brought in, sometime in the not so distant future.

Cornette rolls into the ring and he and AJ embrace, as the ref hands AJ Styles the PWX World Heavyweight Championship. PPV goes off the air with Styles and Cornette posing in the ring.

Thanks for all the feedback :shifty:

oh well...your all on my Sh*tlist now... :D lol.

Lastest news and updates about the PWX Universe:

PWX Post X-Factor Newswire

Christian Cage upsets management

Originally Christian was schedualed to win his match against Christopher Daniels at the ppv last night, however on a radio show Cage stated a few unpleasent thoughts on PWX's current state and officials where not happy with him. Cage apperantly has apologized to management, and didn't have a problem doing the job last night, as it was booked in a way that didn't make Cage look weak. Management told Cage that any promblems he may have are fine, but should be addressed with management, before he goes public with anything.

Cornette another step in PWX's budding relationship with ROH

Cornette, who currently acts as Ring of Honors commissioner, is yet another example of the two sides working together. PWX is also expected to bring in some home grown ROH talent to work thier tv shows, and ROH gets talent from PWX to appear on thier shows.

Styles thrilled

AJ Styles is thrilled about PWX entrusting him to carry the ball right out of the gate by crowning him the first PWX Champion. He and Jericho put alot of time in together working on the booking of the match, and Jericho was said to be perfectly fine with doing the job to Styles.

Varios PWX news and notes

Everyone backstage was apparently very pleased with how the show came accross live last night. Styles -vs- Jericho, and Low Ki -vs- Samoa Joe seem to be the wrestlers picks for matches of the night last night. Both Jericho and Styles got alot of respect for going out there and working a 40 minute match last night.

Low Ki is expected to stay off of TV for a week or two, but will be back with PWX in the near future.

James Gibson is also slated to stay off TV for just a few shows, and will be back as well. No word on if he will be involved with Corino on his return.

Dawn Marie's segment is expected to make another apperance this week on Action!

Many in the locker room, espacially many former ROH guys, were uneasy about Teddy Hart being acquired by PWX. Hart has alot of heat on him from an incident that happened at an ROH show awhile back.

Both Bret and Terry Funk where in good sperates, and didn't have any problems with how things where laid out last night.

Bret isn't done with PWX, but is expected to remain off TV for a couple of weeks at the very least.

Teddy Hart was apparently on his best behavior last night, and was even friendly with everyone, including those who he doesn't really get along with. Many don't consider this a surprise, as Hart is usually well behaved at first, and then sinks back into his old habits.

Teddy was brought into PWX for this angle with Gen neXt and Bret, which is expected to last a couple of months, if he still has a job after that will ultimately depend on him.

PWX officials are still in talks with TSN in Canada about airing a one hour show each week for the network. The show would be a secondary show, much like a Heat or Velocity was for WWE. However if picked up, PWX has apparently told TSN that AJ Styles would defend the Title on the first broadcast. PWX is currently available in Canada only on ppv.

PWX officials are in talks with several Japanese promotions, about bringing some of thier top wrestlers into PWX for several one time matches. Much like TNA has done in the past.

Last weeks Action got a final rating that was .2 lower than the week priors'. However each of the last four weeks before last week the rating had been climbing steadily. FOX and PWX higher ups aren't at all concerned, and expect a better rating this upcoming week for Action!

Although this weeks Action! preview has yet to be released Charlie Haas and Chavo Guererro Jr. are expected to take on Steve Corino and CW Anderson.

PWX has announced there next Pay Per View Mega-Event entitled PWX Redemption. The event will take place on May 28. PWXonline has also released the official logo for the event, shown below.

I like this, Slim. I was pretty skeptical when I started reading and saw a lot of "super indy" talent thrown into the mix, but you won me over. The "Stage Five" tourney had me totally confused, but when I saw it executed, I thought it worked. Nice work.

I love the idea of Justin & Siaki teaming up for some reason. No idea why. Reuniting Bentley & Kazarian is also quite cool. I miss that team. The gauntlet was a nice match, but I hope to see the losing teams get developed as opposed to the winners. Just not a London fan really. :-/

The Petey/Misterio feud should be great. I could see it expanding to a stable war even. South of the border versus north of the border or something.

Chavo coming out was a nice little surprise, but I wasn't crazy about Corino knocking the cruisers, even if they are flippy. Just sort of makes them look bad. Chavo & Haas should be a great team though and the "Corino old school" versus "Guerrero old school" thing sounds interesting.

Not crazy about Joe or Ki, but that was them doing what they do best... beating the crap out of somebody. Good match and I'm glad Ki had to job.

The Lynn/Sabin team is just great. Kind of like the veteran and the rookie join forces to help each other out. I sort of wish Gen Next had won, just because I'd like to have seen Lynn/Sabin chase the gold. Now, I'm sort of half-expecting a series of run-ins and attacks until the champs give them another match.

Not sure I like Lawler as the commissioner. He seems a little too "Memphis" if you know what I mean. He's been doing the "dirty old man" schtick so long, I'm just unable to take him seriously anymore.

I wasn't crazy about the Teddy Hart debut. I thought it spoiled the entire match, which was going pretty good. The mask thing threw me off too. Why would he wear a mask, only to just take it off? I'm not sure a "who is the masked man?" storyline would've been great either.

Using Christian to put Daniels over was a good move. No point in giving Christian wins or championships when his promos are all his fans really seem to care about. If (as the reports seem to indicate) he's on his way out, good riddance to him.

The Jim Cornette run-in has me scratching my head, especially joining forces with Styles. The cheap win after such a massive tourney was sort of sour, but I guess that was the point. The Styles/Jericho thing will continue and it should be good.

As for criticism, I'd have to say I didn't like the fact that every match seemed to be more of a feud continuation. I get the feeling the next PWX PPV will look really similar to this one. I don't ming long feuds, but I'm hoping you have some ideas on how to cross some of these storylines over together and produce some different matches.

Also, and it won't bother most, but spelling is a major thing with me. A misspelled word can take me right out of the whole thing. I've seen far worse, of course, but a lot of these mistakes could be easily caught with a spellchecker program. It wasn't bad enough to keep me from enjoying it, but it would be easy to fix and would increase the entertainment value a lot, at least to me.

Anyway, nice job, Slim. I look forward to the road to Redemption. Best of luck with this diary. :)

I have definitely enjoyed reading this diary and like was noted the Stage 5 Tournament was really confusing when you were talking about the concept but it went down great when you executed the matches and also the PPV is one of the best PPV's I have read in a Diary and I really like the idea of making AJ Styles the main man in your promotion and having Styles as a heel is always good

PWX Wednesday Night ACTION! Preview:

Less than 72 hours after PWX X-Factor went off the air with the crowning of it's first World Heavyweight Champion, Action! will hit the airwaves with the backlash from the eipc event taking center stage.

AJ Styles will be in the house this wednesday night merely three days after defeating Chris Jericho to become the first ever PWX World Heavyweight Champion! AJ declined an interview with PWX's announce staff, but fell victim to Dawn Marie's...umm.."charm" and granted the PWX Bombshell the exclusive intervew rights. So this wednesday night Dawn's Diary will feature the NEW PWX World Heavyweight Champion, "The Phoniminal" AJ Styles.

X-Factor saw the most shocking moment in PWX's short history when, of all people, Teddy Hart attacked Terry Funk and helped Austin Aries defeat the hardcore legand. Hart then belittled his own uncle, Bret Hart infront of the jampacked crowd. Bret has not returned any of PWX's calls to his estate in Calgery, and a statement the Hart family issued to PWX asked that we respect his privacy during this emotionally draining moment on thier family.

The Teddy situation brings up even more questions than what he ment when he addressed his uncle, like why help Austin Aries? Why would he attack Terry Funk? And ofcourse, is Teddy now a full fledged member of Generation neXt? Hopefully this wednesday night will provide atleast some of the answers to these questions.

In other Generation neXt business, we have the tag team titles that Alex Shelley and Roderick Strong failed to win in thier incredible match against Jerry Lynn and Chris Sabin. Shelley and Strong claim to have an announcement about the ending of the match from X-Factor, that will, in thier eyes, automatically make them the number one conteders for the Tag Titles.

After his controversial win over Christian Cage at the X-Factor Pay Per View, Christopher Daniels has contacted PWX Officials with claims that he should now be the number one contender to AJ Styles' PWX World Heavyweight Championship. Christian Cage will obviously have some objections to such a claim, and don't think that Chris Jericho is going to agree with the Fallen Angle either. Daniel's is expected at Action! this week, and will address the crowd to make his case to PWX Officials.

X-Factor also saw the arrival of Chavo Guerrero Jr. in PWX when he helped Charlie Haas fight off Steve Corino and CW Anderson. PWX Commissioner Jerry Lawler made the announcement at the PPV, and this wednesday night will see the two duos square off in a tag team encounter.

Also this week on Action!: Petey Williams may have come up short in his bid to defeat Rey Mysterio, but don't expect that to humble the cocky Canadian one bit. Petey will be in action this week when he takes on PWX newcommer The Amazing Red. We will also see the duo of Justin Credible and Sonny Siaki take on The Naturals this week on Action! Siaki and Credible cost The Naturals during the Tag Team Gauntlet match at X-Factor, when they attacked them after being eliminated moments earlier. Stevens and Douglas were easy pickens after the attack by Credible and Siaki, and Matt Bently and Frankie Kazerian easily eliminated the two men. Will revenge be sweet for Stevens and Douglas this wednesday night?

Don't miss all the Adrenaline packed Action! this week, only on Fox!

---Schedualed Matches---

So here's the deal. I don't want to burn myself out by writing so many tv matches, then going all out and writing highly detailed PPV matches. So I'm flipping my writing style atleast for now. If there's any feedback towards wanting the old format back, I will switch back to it at some point. For now though, this is how I will be doing it. So, instead of summerizing the angles/promos and writing out the matches, I'll be doing the opposite. Writing out the angles/promos, and summerizing the matches. I still do the ratings and final thoughts...but trying to write so many matches, and not have them seem too repeditive is difficult, and I find this format will make it easier to do. I do hope you still find the new format enjoyable. Thanks for reading.

PWX Wednesday Night Action: March 29, 2006

We open with a somewhat lenghty recap video of the X-Factor event. Focusing mainly on Styles winning the world title over Jericho with Cornette's help. We then go to an overhead shot of the arena, while Mike Johnson and Alicia Webb hype the show tonight and the replays available of X-Factor. We then cut to the opening video for PWX ACTION!

He come back with Generation NeXt's music playing throughout the arena, and we see Austin Aries, Roderick Strong, and Alex Shelley coming out from the back. The threesome play the crowd all the way down to the ring, while Johnson and Webb recap the Teddy/Bret incident from the pay per view last night. All three men enter the ring, and Strong grabs a microphone. He teases that he's about to speak, then gives a cold stare into the camera and decides to hand the mic off to Aries. Aries smiles a cocky smile for certain, and slowly brings the mic up to his mouth.

Aries: Welcome...to our Generation! Bret, I want you to know that what I did to you at X-Factor the other night, it wasn't business...it was damn sure personal! Your a hack Bret! A worthless waiste of space, and a bleemish on the face of this SPORT! And guess what "Hitman"? You got Oxycuted last night. For those unaware, three days after I enlisted Bret's own nephew to rip his heart out, Bret still hasn't returned any of PWX's phone calls. So, mission accomplished! I was so proud of Teddy last night...weren't you guys? Shelley and Strong both shake thier heads in a "yes" motion. See...See Teddy? We all were plesantly surprised with how well it worked out for us. You the man Teddy! You the man! Enjoy that vaction that me and the guys paid for, because you earned it. Seeya next week buddy, and welcome...to the neXt Generation of pro wrestling! Shelley and Strong both clap, and Aries just smirks before handing the microphone over to Shelley.

Shelley: Now...to get to tonight's business. I stated on PWX website that I had un-deniable proof that myself and Roderick over here deserve to STILL be the #1 contenders. More so than that, we should get our shots right here tonight. Because...ya see...Not only did I have Jerry Lynn pinned, right in the center of the ring. I did...I really did! But, even more so than that...Lynn and Sabin Cheated! Oh yea...They cheated! Poor Roderick is supposed to live with the fact that Sabin pinned him in the ring, but he shouldn't have to. Why you ask? Because he wasn't the legal man, people! Check the tape...I was the legal man, and since I wasn't the one pinned...the pin shouldn't even count. You heard me PWX officials...take out those erasers and get to work. Because that pinfall never should of been counted, but This Generation isn't about cry over spilled milk. So Jerry...Chris...come on down and give us our rematch now, and everything will be perfectly fine. Myself and Roderick will defeat you, and take our deserving spots as the PWX World Tag Team Champions...YEAH BABY! Get out here!

Paul London and Brian Kendrik appear on the rampway instead. Shelley and Strong look confused, and they take a few steps forward. Kendrik has a microphone with him though, and after motioning for them to "hold on a second", begins to speak.

Kendrik: Don't you three ever get tired of listening to yourselves? Cause beleive me, everyone else here does. The simple fact of the matter is this...you had your shot, and you blew it. Probably...because both of you blow anyway. But regardless of the reason...your shot has come and gone, and seeing as we won the tag team gauntlet last night...I'd say that it's now our chance to shine.

Shelley: Whoa...hold on a second there, Spanky! I think...no, rephrase, I know that your getting a little ahead of yourself. Your not even in the same league has me and Strong. I mean...you beat who? Matt Bently!? Frankie Kaz...Kaa..z.z.oh, whatever the hell his name is. Your taking about the pure definition of tag team wrestling in myself and Strong. Kaz..Kaz, well..whatever his name is...he's not even worth mentioning...and Matt Bently! I think we all know why he's in the business...he just rode his cousin's coat tails for a free shot at the big leagues. It's such a HEARTBREAK...ing thing ain't it...even with his cousin's legacy, he's still a nobody looking in. So if think that beating those two clowns makes you worthy of taking our spot! Well, take another puff spankster...cause your obviously on something.

Jerry Lawler steps out from the back with a mic in hand, and stands infront of Kendrik and London, who look about ready to charge the ring. He calms them down for a moment, then turns to face Generation neXt in the ring.

Lawler: Now...I still don't know what to say about what happened last night between Teddy and Bret, but that's a situation to be handled on another day. As for you four comedians...I have the solution to all your problems. You both want to be the number one contenders? Fine...then you can wrestle eachother for it. But...I know you guys. You can certainly cheat your way to a win over London and Kendrik, so we're going to spice it up a little.

Shelley: Oh this should be good...the old horn dog wants to spice things up. Well, so long as your not talking about the channel...bring it on old man.

Lawler: I'm talking about giving myself the pleasure of watching London and Kendrik right here, beat you in that ring not once...not twice...but three times! We'll have ourselves a Best of Five series between you two teams. Starting next week on Action!

Lawler smirks at Shelley and Strong, and then he turns and says something unhearable to London and Kendrik. We go to commercial with Shelley, Aries and Strong talking amongst themselves in the ring.

Rating: 7/10

Thoughts: A pretty good segment that set up the best of series between Gen NeXt and London/Kendrik. I'm gonna let these two teams do what they do best, and wrestle to hopefully help get them over.

We come back from commercial with a brief recap of what just transpired, and now it's time for the first match of the evening.

Justin Credible & Sonny Siaki -vs- The Naturals

A Pretty good choice to open the night, certainly not a mat classic...but enjoyable none the less. Siaki and Stevens started it off, and Siaki was a step too slow and just couldn't seem to keep up with him. But a rake to the eyes and a few power moves equalled things out. Credible then took it to Stevens but Chase was eventually able to make the "hot tag" to Douglas. Douglas cleaned some house and hit a Catatonic on Credible, but Siaki made the save. The Naturals went for the Natural Disaster on Siaki, but Credible broke it up. After being clotheslined to the outside, Justin reached under the ring to pull out a Singapore Cane, and timed it just right, nailing Douglas when the ref wasn't looking and getting the pinfall victory. Steven's took out Credible afterwards with a chairshot, and then helped his partner to the back.

Winners: Justin Credible & Sonny Siaki @ 5:55

Rating: **1/2

Thoughts: Pretty solid opening bout. Credible and Siaki are due a small push, and I want to get The Naturals involved too. Therefore a little program between the two was born.

After a commercial break we come back with "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels already in the ring, his music still playing however. Daniels is holding a microphone in his hand, and once both the music and the crowd stop...Daniels begins.

Daniels: ...so...I was sitting in the back when I saw Generation neXt come out here, and after a fair bit of complaining, demand thier oppertunity to capture the PWX Tag Team Titles. Lawler gives them the oppertunity to win a best of five series, and claim thier shots. Now I mentoin that to you people...because this bolds well for the Fallen Angel. You see...unlike Strong and Shelley...your truly won his match last night. I defeated Christian Cage, one, two, three, right in the middle of this ring. Cage was in the #1 contenders match with myself and AJ prior to X-Factor. AJ Won the title last night, and I beat Cage...so, since Jericho already had and blew his shot at becoming PWX Champion, it's only right...that I get the next shot at the world heavyweight title. So I'm out here to demand that...

Before Daniels can finish his sentance Christian Cage's music fills the arena, and Cage steps out to a loud roar from the crowd. Daniels can be seen visably rolling his eyes, while Cage plays the crowd and then begins to speak.

Cage: Chris, Chris, Chris....ya know...you may view yourself as "God's gift to wrestling", but in my eyes...your god's gift to BullS(-Bleep-)rs. Now before you get your angle panties worked up into a bunch. Let me just say that I didn't come out here to insult you. Well...I guess I sort of did...but I also came out here to congratulate you. You pinned me, right in the middle of the ring, no doubt about it.

Daniels: That's right...I did.

Cage: Yes you did Christopher...and there's ice cream and cake in the back for you too. The point I came here to make is this...beating me ONCE, by rolling me up and grabbing a handfull of tights, doesn't mean you've leap frogged me in contention. Not in my book buddy. Now if you really want to be able to make that claim...you'll step in the ring one more time with me. If you can beat me twice in a row...I will tell Lawler that you SHOULD me the number one contender.

Daniels: How big of you Cage...how incredibly big of you. Actually...I think it's nothing more than a desperate plea, from a desperate man. Ya see...There is no reason for me to step into the ring against you, I've already proven that I can beat you. I did it live on pay per view, infront of millions of people.

Cage: So then I guess that means...

Daniels: You shut your damn mouth when I'm talking! Cage looks caught by surprise, as a few "ooohs" echo from the crowd I am Christopher Daniels! Do you really have any idea what that means!? Shut up...It means I am best all around wrestler in this business. It means That yes, I AM God's gift to wrestling. And it means...That I could spend the next three hundred and sixty-five days kickin' your ass in this ring. Because I am..that damn great! So if you want a rematch...all you had to do was come out here, skip the poor comdey, and ask for one. So that means...Yes! Any damn day of the week, I will step into this ring with you again, and beat you. Because beating chumps like you...That's How I...Spread the gospel of Fallen Angel.

Cage: Chris...you really are full of surprises. I was moved by your speech...I really was. But what you need to realise is...that becoming world heavyweight champion is what I came here for. And nothing is going to stand in my way. I want you to listen to me real closely now...when me and you step into the ring again, I will walk out the winner, and then go on to take the title from AJ Styles. Because my peep's demand it...and most importantly, because...That's...How I ROLL!

Cage and Daniels stare at eachother, both moouthing threats to the other, as PWX Action! goes to a commercial.

Rating: 8/10

Thoughts: A strong segment, featuring two people who can really excel on the stick. A rematch between these two is also a good thing in my mind.

Petey Williams -vs- The Amazing Red

This one was back and forth throughout most of the matchup. They started off doing the chain wrestling and reversal sequances, then worked into a arm drag exchange sequence. Don Callis made his presance felt early, by tripping Red when he was running against the ropes. Red chased Callis around, but walked into a clothesline from Petey. Petey then maintained the advantage for a minute and a half before Red countered a Canadian Destroyer into a hurricanrana, much like Rey did at the pay per view to get the win...this time however Petey was able to kick out in time. Red continued the attack, but got caught off gaurd by Petey which ultimately cost him. Red went for another hurricanrana and Petey caught him, then dropped him down right into position for the Canadian Destroyer! After the match Petey put the boots to Red, until Rey Mysterio ran down and hit a springboard dropkick to the back of Petey's head. Callis got involved though, shoving Mysterio off the ropes when he went to drop the dime on Petey, and Petey got up and hit a Canadian Detroyer on Rey.

Winner: Petey Williams @ 6:17

Rating: **1/2

Thoughts: Red is a good addition to the lower card roster, and Petey is very talented and someone I am high on. Rey coming in at the end, yet once again falling victim to the Destroyer adds another chapter to thier fued.

CW Anderson & Steve Corino -vs- Charlie Haas & Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Anderson and Haas started the match off, and actually spent the majority of the match against eachother. Just after the 4 minute mark Corino made his way into the ring and he took it to Haas. Charlie was able to get a nice superkick in at one point for a close two count. CW was tagged back in and went after Haas, until Charlie was able to hit an exploder and make the tag to Chavo around 7 minutes into it. Chavo cleaned house on both men, and even countered a CW Spinebuster attempt with a tornado DDT. After clotheslining Corino to the outside, Chavo went uptop and hit the Frog Splash on CW Anderson to pick up the victory. After the match Corino laid out Guerrero with a Chair Shot from behind. Then hit an Old School Expulsion for good measure.

Winners: Charlie Haas & Chavo Guerrero Jr @ 9:01

Rating: ***1/4

Thoughts: Chavo is a good worker, just like Corino, and I'm looking forward to having these two working with eachother. Adding in two good workers like Haas and Anderson into the mix should help keep the matches fresh, and also gets two guys I enjoy on TV.

Back from commercial for Action!'s last segment. The ring is set up in a nice femenine design, and we see PWX Bombshell Dawn Marie standing in the ring smiling from ear to ear, and twirling her hair with one hand, while holding a microphone with the other.

Dawn Marie: ooooo...I'm on TV! HEHE! Dawn stops twirling her hair momenterialy, and shakes her fists in front of her in an excited "Valley Girl" ditzy motion. I'm a big star on Fox! Look out Oprah...here I come! But...before I take over the evening talk shows, it's time for my very own show here on Action. It's Dawn's Diary! Yay! Everybody loves me... She jumps up and down, and with the tight shirt she's wearing, this certainly gets a reaction from the crowd. See! Yay for me! But..I have to get to the show. Everybody...welcome to Dawn's Diary! YAY! Now...tonight my guest is none other than the man who won the world championship the other night at X-Factor. Please welcome...the Phenominally Hot..AJ Styles.

While Dawn is busy clapping in the ring, Our World Champions' music hits the p.a. speakers and out from the back walks "The Pheniminal" AJ Styles with the title around his waiste. The pyro goes off has he spreads his arms away from his body, and yells into the fans. The mixed reaction is obvious, yet still loud, as Styles enters the ring. He gives Dawn a little hug, and she clearly enjoys it. Both of them take a seat in the chairs she has set up.

Dawn Marie: AJ...first, congrates on the title. It looks good on you.

AJ Styles: Yea, your damn right it does babe. In fact, I bet the only person this gold would look better on...would be you. Dawn simply giggles, and blushes abit. But to reply to your comment seriously...this belt is around the waiste of the only person in this world that is worthy of wearin' it.

Dawn Marie: well Jericho did put on a great fight last night, infact...who knows if you would of won without Jim Corn...

Styles: Hold it right there sweet cheeks. I certainly didn't need anyone's help to beat that wanna be rocker. Jim's a close buddy of mine...he did what he did on his own occord.

Dawn Marie: So you mean that you had nothin...

Styles: Look hun...just sit there and look pretty alright? I'll handle the business here. Dawn pouts at AJ's remarks, but complies I mean...come on...I'm AJ Styles for god's sake. I'm the most gifted athlete in all of pro wrestling. When I'm in the ring, you see matches the other guys only wish they could put on. I mean...they call me phenominal for a reason. I am! I mean, not only am I the PWX World's Heavyweight Champion...but I AM PWX! I'm it! Who else on this roster can even hold my jock!? Dawn smiles, and looks about to reply, but she has second thoughts and doesn't. Check the website...whos' merchandise is the top sellin'? Mine. And just like Sunday night...Jericho comes in second there too. But in Jericho's defense...there's no shame in losing to AJ Styles. The shame comes in actually thinking you have a shot at beating AJ Styles. That's terribly shameful.

Over the banister comes Chris Jericho he slides into the ring and points at Styles. AJ cockily gets to his feet and shakes his head at Jericho, and is then tackled to the ground by Chris. The two men roll around punching away at eachother, and destroying the set. Dawn looks about ready to cry, and she just pouts away in the corner. Jericho gets the upperhand and goes crazy with right hands to the face of Styles. Jericho gets to his feet, the his repeated stomps on AJ prevent him from doing the same. Once AJ is worn down enough, Jericho grabs his legs and turns him over into the Walls of Jericho! Styles taps repeatidly, and Jericho synches back on the hold. From the back runs Jim Cornette, Tennis racket in hand. Cornette slides into the ring, and avoids Jericho's line of sight before cracking him over the head with the racket. Jericho drops and Cornette helps AJ to his feet. After taking a few moments to recoup, Styles rips the racket out of Cornette's hands and cracks Jericho with it numerous times, before tossing him to the outside. AJ heads outside himself, and drags Jericho over to the announcer's table. After using the racket to get Alicia and Mike to leave the table, he clears it of Monitors. Jericho is tossed onto the table, and AJ follows him up...pulling him slowly to his feet, and then bringing the crowd to a "Holy Sh*t" chant by Style's Clashing Jericho Through the announce Table! Styles slowly gets to his feet after the move, then gingerly slides into the ring and grabs the world heavyweight title. He holds it above his head with one hand, and smiles into the camera as we fade to black.

Rating: 8/10

Thoughts: Well recieved and executed angle between the two, and I just love Dawn's ditzy gimmick. This anlge also debuted AJ's new "Whole Damn Show" gimmick. Adding this "my sh*t don't stink" aspect to AJ will help define him with more of a character, and he's good enough in the ring to back up alot of it. So it works. Styles gained 5 points of overness from this, between the gimmick change and angle itself. So it really worked for his character.

Final Alysis: farely solid matches, well recieved angles. All in all, a pretty solid show.

Final Rating: B-

Final Thoughts: This one wasn't about the matches, it was all about the angles. Continueing several already established angles, while kicking off the best of five and Chavo/Corino ones. I decided there was no need to have Teddy appear on this episode, as he can easily be saved til next week. AJ easily benefitted the most from this episode, and is now the most over performer on the roster, surpasing Jericho.

PWX Wednesday night Action!: April 5, 2006

Your Hosts: Mike Johnson & Alicia Webb

After the opening video we are inside the arena overlooking the jam packed crowd. Mike & Alicia hype tonight matches which include Samoa Joe in action, and the first match in the Best of Five series between Shelley/Strong and Kendrik/London. Before we get to any of that, we're kicking things off with AJ Styles making his first title defense against Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio -vs- AJ Styles W/ Jim Cornette (PWX World Heavyweight Championship)

Rey takes the early offensive with a series of leg scissors and twisting arm drags right off the bat. At the two minute mark Mysterio had already hit the 619, and then springboarded off the ropes with a stagedive for a two count. Mysterio hit a rude goldberg bulldog for another two count, and really had the champion reeling for the first few minutes. It was nearly five minutes into the match before Styles got any real offense in. Mysterio went for a hurricanrana, but Styles countered it into a sitdown powerbomb for a two count. The champ went on the offensive after with a series of kicks. A hangmen's neckbreaker got AJ a two count at 7:02. Styles went for the moonsualt off the middle ropes into a reverse DDT spot, by Rey countered with a northern lights suplex for a two count. After walking into a spinning leg lariat, Mysterio found himself in trouble again. Rey countered a Style's Clash! attempt, into a victory roll for a close two count. Styles then planted Rey with his version of a dominator, which Mysterio was able to kick out on. Cornette tried to get involved, but Mysterio caught him with a dropkick, knocking him off the ring apron. Rey then hit a flying hurricanrana off the tope ropes and covered AJ for a very close two! They had the crowd really counting along with that one. Rey then hit another hurricanrana, but AJ rolled through and turned it into a Styles Clash! Three seconds later, AJ picked up the hard fought victory.

After the match had ended Chris Jericho ran out from the back and took AJ down, punching away at the world champ. Jericho knocked Cornette off the apron and then clotheslined AJ over the ropes and to the outside. Jericho was pumped up in the ring, and celebrated with the crowd...while the champ retreated to the backstage area.

Winner: AJ Styles (To retain the PWX Championship) @ 10:19

Rating: ****

Notes: PWX World Heavyweight Title gained image. AJ would like to work with Rey again sometimes.

Thoughts: These two have great chemistry in the ring, and put on a fast paced and entertaining match. It was the highest overall rated match to appear on Action! I believe. Having a good match that wasn't interupted or interfered with was a big goal for this one, and I was able to work the Jericho fued into it post match.

The neXt Episode...

Generation neXt stands in the ring when we return from commercial, and Austin Aries has a microphone in hand.

Austin Aries: Welcome...to our world. Welcome...to the neXt Generation of professional wrestling. Now I didn't come out here to take up alot your time tonight, because frankly...I can't stand the sight of you people. I'm here to introduce you to the newest member of the Generation neXt family. So, to get sraight to it...so we can get the hell away from you people. Welcome the man who knows how to make an entrance, the undeniabley impactful...Teddy Hart. Come on out here Teddy.

Teddy comes out from the back, and flips off someone in the crowd...we can tell cause it's blurred out. Hart walks down to the ring, and then flips over the top ropes, landing on his feet. Teddy embraces with Aries, then shakes hands with Alex Shelley and Roderick Strong, before taking the mic from Austin.

Teddy Hart: Alright...I'm going to keep this short, and sweet. I had reasons for doing what I did...reasons so strong, that I would do it again in a heartbeat. Those reason's however...are none of your damn business. But I will say this...One very big reason behind my actions, was that the old son of a bitch deserved it. Everyone even vaguely involved with this business knows that Bret is nothing more than the biggest damn crybaby to ever lace up a pair of boots. Everyone knows that me and Aries here, did what everyone has wanted to do for the last decade or so. Shut Bret up! So Bret...if your listening at home, stay there! Don't dare show your face again...got it? Good!

Hart appears about to continue speaking when music blares through the p.a. systems, and from the back walks Matt Bently and Frankie Kazerian. The two men stand atop to the entrance way, with Kazerian holding a mic in his right hand. He raises it, and begins to speak.

Frankie Kazerian: Hey Shelley...since you seem to be dumber than you look, allow me to refresh your memory has to who we are. I'm the Coolest cat in town pal, Frankie Kazerian. And this man to my right...well, you already know...seeing as you made a point to take a few unnecessary shots at the man last week.

Matt Bently: So Shelley...you think your a comedian, do ya? Well considering your lack of inring skill...I suppose no can blame you for trying to expand your herizons.

Alex Shelley: Ohhh...That's hilarious coming from a third rate never will be like yourself. Not to mentoin a man who rode his family ties to an oppertunity.

Matt Bently: Really...and I suppose Teddy over there, well...he made it cause he's so damn talented, right? Please...he did what he did last week cause Bret knew he would never amount to anything but "bret's little nephew". hell...the only reason he was allowed in the building that night, was cause PWX security thought he was here to cheer his uncle on. Not humilate his uncle in a desperate attempt to make a name for himself.

Teddy Hart: Big talk for someone who's all the way down there...why don't you bring your talentless ass into this ring, so I give you a Hart Attack!

Bently and Kazerian look about ready to go down to the ring, even taking a few steps forward, before stopping and both cracking a smile.

Matt Bently: You must think we're as stupid as you look. Now there's no doubt I could take you out one on one...but me and Frankie against the four of you chumps...sorry. Just not liking those odds. Tell ya what though, Me and Frankie here...we're gonna get ya...gonna get ya good. And you will find out exactly how, next week on Action. So until then ladies...I want you to think about what you just got yourself into...and prepare yourselves. Prepare...for the ShowStoppas!

Bently drops the mic, and he a Kazerian head to the back...all the while Generation neXt is shown motioning for them to "bring it". We head to a commercial.

Rating: 7/10

Notes: Bently and Shane both gained overness from this segment.

Thoughts: Well recieved for an angle consisting of two heel groups. I want to be able to expand Gen neXt, and not just have all four fueding with one or two people, so interaction like this will most likely continue.

The Joke's on AJ

After the commercial break we come back to a view of the crowd, then cut to the backstage locker area, where we see PWX Bombshell Jamie Koeppe standing by with a microphone in her hand.

Jamie Koeppe: Hello PWX wrestling fans...I'm Jamie Koeppe, PWX's new backstage correspondant. I'm here with you now because PWX has been the setting of one incredibly heated rivelry over the back several weeks, over the PWX World Heavyweight Championship. My guest at this time is the man who won the Stage Five Invitational Tournament, and then lost to AJ Styles in controversial fashion...at the X-Factor event. Please welcome Chris Jericho.

From the opposite side of the screen Chris Jericho steps into view with a unusually serious face on him. He looks Jamie over for a moment, and then takes the mic from her.

Chris Jericho: I'll take it from here. Jericho steps forward and looks directly into the camera AJ Styles...PWX's first ever World Heavyweight Champion. I came to the realisation that I never did congratulate you, which is good...cause you won't have that title long enough to merit congratulations. You see AJ...I'm sure your used to me getting on the stick and making a few jokes, getting the crowd involved, and just plain entertaining everyone in the arena, and everybody watching at home. That's not going to happen tonight though...not a chance champ. Because this time...the joke's on you. I just came from Commissioner Lawler's office, and I'm in a great mood right now AJ. Great...yes, but serious as can be. For you see AJ, I now know that I don't have to wait very long for a title shot. I've already been granted my rematch...and it will happen in two weeks, live on PrimeTime baby! So AJ...my suggestion to you, is to take a bunch of pictures of yourself with the Title. Because in two weeks time, it's ending up right where it was supposed to be in the first place.

Jericho just stares into the camera abit more, before slowly turning away and heading down the hall. Action! goes to a commercial.

Rating: 10/10

Notes: Jericho gained overness from this segment.

Thoughts: Jericho on the mic being serious, what more do you want? Very well recieved interview.

Mikey Whipwreck -vs- Samoa Joe

Joe attacks prior to the belt and just takes it to Mikey, with hard kicks and body punches. Joe whipped Whipwreck into the corner and followed up with a running knee attack. Running Yakuza kick sent Mikey to the outside. Whipwreck was able to mount some offense when he ducked a Joe clothesline and connected with a jumping heel kick to the face of Joe. Whipwreck was able to hoiste Joe up onto the top turnbuckle and went for a Franken-Mikey, but Joe simply held onto the ropes and Mikey crashed to the mat. Muscle Buster was countered by Whipwreck, who then went for a Whippersnapper. Joe countered by grabbing Mikey and dropping down into the Kokita Clutch for the tap out victory.

Winner: Samoa Joe @ 3:36

Rating: **

Thoughts: A decent match for what was pretty much a squash.

Return of the Queen B

PWX returns from commercial with PWX Bombshell Christy Hemme bouncing around in the ring, and playing the crowd. She has a microphone in the ring, and after playing the crowd abit more...seductively I might add, she begins to speak.

Christy Hemme: PWX Fans...heeeellooooo! I'm Christy Hemme, Proudly out here to inform all of you people...that PWX's first PrimeTime special will air on April 19th, at 8 p.m. Now I know that's not really news...seeing as it's already been announced, but I do have the inside scoop for all of you. Commissioner Lawler himself has given me all the info, and asked me to share it you all of PWX's loyal fans. So...not only will you see...AJ Styles defend the gold against Chris Jericho, but....but...you will also see Christian Cage, go one on one with Christopher Daniels. Add a defense of the World Tag Team Titles, by Jerry Lynn and Chris Sabin, AND...the return of Low Ki...who has agreed to appear on the show. All this...

Before Christy can complete the sentance a women is seen sliding into the ring, and she clubs Christy from behind. Apon closer inspection the woman is none other than Francine Fournier. Francine rips off Christy's shirt to revel a black bra, to the cheer of the crowd. She then uses the shirt to choke the fallen Christy, while straddeling her from behind. Francine slams her face first into the matt, and unhooks her bra! The takes it off and swings it above her head. The crowd pops, but Christy does a perfect job of covering herself up using her shirt. She slyly slips the shirt back on, covering up herself in the process. Francine has gone to get a microphone, and returns to kick Christy, who was attempting to get back to her feet.

Francine Fournier: Stay down! Now...this is for this little tramp right here, and all the hussies in the back. The biggest Bombshell of them all has arrived, because Francine Fournier is in PWX. If PWX thought that by bringing me in, they were gonna get just another set of (-Bleep-) and Ass to come out here and entertain you perverted losers in the audience...they where damn wrong. Your dealin' with the smartest women in this sport. I was helping my guys win championships when this little slut right here was swinging around poles, hopin for a twenty dollar bill in her G-string. I made it in this business because of my talents...and unlike every other woman in the back, my talents don't include lying on my back with my legs behind my ears. I am the damn Queen of Extreme...not some moanin' prostitute! So to Christy, Dawn, and everyother...(-Bleep-)...in the back...I want you to listen to me right now. PWX is about to get taken to the extreme, courtesy of yours truly. I'm here for one reason and one reason only...to take this company over. And PWX can throw any bimbo they want infront of me, cause they'll just wind up right where they usually do...on thier knees. Except this time, they'll be down on their knees begging me, for mercy. So all you limp basterds in the crowd, get used to being disapointed. I will personally run through every bombshell on the roster, and when I'm done...there won't be a bombshell left, except for the Queen. Brace yourself gals...cause the biggest bitch of them all, is back in action.

Francine throws the mic at Christy, and kicks her one more time, before exiting the ring and quickly walking to the backstage area.

Rating: 7/10

Notes: Christy and Francine both gained overness from this segment.

Thoughts: Francine is all kinds of kick ass. Sexual, smart, and willing to take a bump. She's a booker's dream. She's also charismatic enough to certainly hold her own on the stick. Christy is here for T&A, atleast right now. Her growing overness and charisma certainly give the oppertunity to be used in a more prominant role in the future.

Alex Shelley & Roderick Strong -vs- Paul London @ Brian Kendrik

--Best of Five Series: Match One. --

Shelley and Kendrik started the match off and went back and fourth for the first few minutes. Shelley was hit with a nice springboard into a bulldog by Kendrik, which got a close two count. Shelley used the testicular claw to regain the advantage, and after a DDT he tagged in Strong. Strong hit a nice double underhook into a backbreaker, holding Kendrik up for several seconds before dropping him into the backbreaker. Strong stayed on the offensive, until he missed a dropkick attempt, allowing Kendrik to tag in London. London went of the attack, taking care of both men with spinning heel kicks and neckbreaker drops. Shelley eventually caught London from behind, and hit him with the ShellShock! Kendrik broke up the pin though and dumped Shelley to the outside. After Strong missed a clothesline London rolled him up for a two count. London tagged in Kendrik who went for the Sliced Bread Number five, but Strong held onto the ropes to counter and tagged in Shelley. Shelley and Strong double teamed Kendrik, until London knocked Strong off the apron, and then went suicide style over the top ropes. Shelley used the one on one situation to go for the Shellshock, but Kendrik countered and turned it into the Sliced Bread #5, and got the pinfall win before Strong was able to break it up. London and Kendrik celebrated as the show went off the air.

Winners: Paul London & Brian Kendrik @ 9:13 (lead series 1-0)

Rating: ***3/4

Thoughts: Solid match has me feeling good about the series as a whole. With more time they could easily break into **** territory given the talents the four men are.

Final Rating: B

Final Thoughts: A Solid show with some good angle development and two good matches. It also really benefited several of the workers. Bently, Kazerian, Jericho, Francine, and Christy all saw an increase in overness for the show. So overall I would defiantly rate it a positive show for PWX.
