Shareware Games

Recommended Posts

The question surely should be "Are any worth downloading?"

Even if all shareware is free, I wouldn't bother even glancing at 90% of them, but then again that's personal opinion.

Go to a site like Underdogs or Abandonia and check out their higher rated games. They also tend to list them under "Strategy", "Sports", "RPG", "Simulation", "Action" etc which is helpful.

About buying them though, some that ARE shareware I DID buy as a younger lad (like Monkey Island, Beneath A Steel Sky, Cannon Fodder etc). Happy days...
