I know of a company who went down and I hope the games are considered free now. The makers of Tournament of Dreams College Basketball or something, the ones who made the first TEW. If they really went down, I suppose those games are free now and somebody can post a crack or something....because they are not making money from them anymore. If so...well if it's legal for the reasons I posted above, I want LINKS!!!!

I know where to download some....but the problem is they are the trial version that need a crack to become full. I know this crack exists and since the company is not making any money from them anymore, I think it is perfectly legal to use it. I mean, the company went down, it does not exist anymore! I know where to download Tournament of Dreams, but if it is just a trial and I have zero chance of getting it full, then I wont.

well, but since they are not making money from it anymore, legally the game is NOT supposed to be even on the net, then it's not hurting anyone. I believe it becomes abandonware because a) The game or sequels are not coming out anymore b) they are not making any money from that game. As a matter of fact, they dont even exist anymore! How can that be illegal?

Because someone owns the copyright and it's up to them to decide if there game becomes free. I'm sure if they wanted it to be free they would release a fully unlocked copy of the game for download.
