My country's not going to the World Cup. But if they were, I'd send Craig Forest, Dwayne DeRosario, Atiba Hutchinson and Jonathan De Guzman and they'd win the whole thing single-handledly :shifty:

Rooney's broken a different bone. The others who took ages to recover broke the one that has the tendon attached to it, Rooney's broken a straight bone. And I heard Beckham's recovery was 7 and a half weeks?

No way should we take James Beattie.

GK: Robinson, James, Green

DEF: G Neville, Ferdinand, Campbell, Terry, A Cole, Carragher, King

MID: Beckham, Gerrard, Lampard, J Cole, Carrick, Jenas (if fit), Lennon, SWP

STRI: Rooney, Owen, Crouch, Defoe, Sheringham (he's never too old <_<)

Can you tell I'm a Spurs fan? :shifty:

Goalkeepers:

Paul Robinson

David James

Robert Green

(Lucky Robinson's so good, we've hardly got any English Premiership goalies)

Defenders:

John Terry

Rio Ferdinand

Ledley King (can double as defensive midfielder)

Jamie Carragher (perfect England utility player)

Gary Neville

Ashley Cole

Luke Young

MIDFIELDERS:

Frank Lampard

Steven Gerrard

Joe Cole

David Beckham

Michael Carrick

Aaron Lennon

Stuart Downing/Matty Etherington

Joey Barton

ATTACKERS:

Michael Owen

Wayne Rooney (if fit enough to play at least from 2nd round onwards)

Jermain Defoe

James Beattie

Darren Bent

If no Rooney, Andrew Johnson.

Beattie would do a better job than Crouch at shaking up opposing defences. We always seem to slip into this Crouch/Heskey mentality....This just goes to show how thin our attacking forces really are.

I dont see that as more of an additional blow since he's already out and those bones will be healing at the same time as the original break.

* Nigel Reo Coker is there because he has been fantastic this season and hes only like 20-21 and it would be a great experience for him even if he dont play .
