The fourth expansion for The Sims 2

Apparently we're getting pets. Watch the E3 line-up trailer and you'll see a few images from the upcoming game. Nothing really is known about it except the damn pets. I've attached a few pictures for those of you who don't want to watch the trailer.

I've only ever played the first Sims and never touched any of the expansion packs, but wasn't The Sims Unleashed expansion for the first game pretty much the same idea?

I have the Sims 2 and University but have barely played the second expansion pack. I can never find time to go on, and when I do, I get bored.

I need some help.

Just last week I bought Sims 2 and have been playing for a while as that Lothario character in Pleasantville. Basically I followed a little story I made: first I was a playa just trying to have as much woohoo as possible, but then as I got older I decided to marry and live a typical life. I married one of the Caliente's(The one with red hair) and we had a baby....but then the baby dissapeared! I mean, she just had it, I quickly paused and built a room for the baby with crib and all and then she put the baby on the crib and I saved the game. I stopped playing. So just a couple of minutes ago I resume playing and the baby is GONE! I mean, she has memory of it and all, but he is not there! WTF? Any help?

Is the baby's face still in the family stack on the left side of the screen?

Hopefully this is better than The Sims Unleased. That one wasn't as good as I expected, it wasn't horrible though. I just hope this one is better, I love Open for Business and Nightlife. University is okay.

I really wanted to get the Buisness one but never did, whether I get that or not, I doubt I'll get this, doesn't seem it'll add much to the game.

Plus, I don't play Sims enough anymore to care that much

Good lord I hate the SIms games. I always get right hyped up about them, buy them and they are always shit after a day or two.

Ugh...I liked the original Sims quite a lot, but since Sims 2 came out it's just hasn't been the same for me.

...and the less said about The Urbz the better

I have The Sims 2, University, Nightlife, and I had Open For Business but the disc is no good and I decided the game was mind numbingly boring so I just got my money back.

Christ. I thought there was just 1 expansion pack. I actually own none of them though. Sims expansions take the piss. I'm not missing massive amounts...I'll just buy them cheap...eventually if something really catches my eye that I want. I don't really play The Sims all that much. I think the last time I touched it was about 6 months ago at least.
