A New Challenge

January 2, 2006

With Triple H out of action, who will step up to the plate and challenge the ever-ready campion, John Cena? Well, who ever it is, he will have to participate in a tag team match, teaming up with 'The Whole Damn Show' Rob Van Dam against The Rated-R Superstar Edge and John Cena.

Also on RAW this week, Intercontinetal Champion Shelton Benjamin and his Momma will have their work cut out, as Shelton defends his title in a fatal-four way against Chris Masters, Eugene and Chavito Heat. Shelton better watch out, as the nose-picking-finker-licking-baby-kissing maestro, Eugene, has promised to win the title like 'The Honky Tonk Man' or 'Pat Patterson.' It is sure to be an exciting match!

Will Armando Alejandro Estrada continue to unleash the Samoan Beast Umaga upon Shawn Michaels? Or will he set his sights on another legendary superstar?

Tune in on Monday to find out!

Y2J Is Back!

January 2, 2006

After defeating John Cena in a tag team match, the returning Chris Jericho, who had previously been fired by Eric Bischoff, announced his intentions about becoming the new WWE Champion. Before the match, Rob Van Dam came out, and was ambushed by Cena & Tag Team Partner, Edge. It was then that Chris Jericho was brought out by the ambush. With an estatic crowd behind him, Jericho single handedly destroyed The R-Rated Superstar and the Arrogant Champ, hitting them both with an enziguri, and giving Cena the Lionsault. As Jericho celebrated, General Manager Dusty Rhodes announced that at the Royal Rumble, John Cena will defend his title against both Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam.

Meanwhile, Chavito Heat won the Intercontinental Championship, after pinning Shelton Benjamin, Eugene and The Masterpiece in an elimination match. Afterwards, Chavito celebrated his victory, thanking Uncle Eddie for the victory.

Umaga continued to deliver punishment to Shawn Michaels, destroying him during Michaels' match against the returning Lance Storm. Afterwards, Armando Alejandro Estrada announced that at the Royal Rumble, Michaels will be in tag team action against Umaga and his cousin, Kimo. HBK better find a tag team partner, or he will feel the rath of two huge samoans.

Also on RAW, Kane and Big Show destroyed The Spirit Squad in a non title match. After the match, the team announced they will destroy Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch in a number one contender match next week.

Also, Carlito defeated The Conman with The Back-Cracker. He went on to verbally assault The Nature Boy Ric Flair.

Results

Rob Van Dam & Chris Jericho defeated Edge and John Cena

Chavito Heat defeated Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin, Chris Masters & Eugene

Shawn Michaels defeated Lance Storm (d.q. via Umaga interference)

Kane & Big Show defeated The Spirit Squad (non-title match)

Real American Jackass!

January 6, 2006

Hulk Hogan made a huge return in the main event between Rey Mysterio and Finlay, but not helping another American. Hogan ran to the ring, and smashed Rey Mysterio with Finlay's Shillelagh, giving Finlay the upset victory to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Just after the referee was knocked down, Rey hit the 619 and the big splash over the ropes, but whilst covering Finlay, Hogan ran down, nailing Rey with Finlay's weapon, busting him wide open. He followed it up with a big legdrop. When referee Nick Patrick woke up, he slowly counted to 3, giving the tough Irishman his biggest win ever.

During a fatal-four way for the US title, whilst J.B.L was all set to retain, The Undertaker's music blasted through the arena, and smoke rose through the ring. Whilst this was happening, Kurt Angle saw the opportunity and gane J.B.L the Angle Slam, followed up by the Anglesault, making Kurt Angle the new US champion.

MNM Succesfully defended their Tag Team Titles, pinning Brian Kenrick after hitting the Snapshot. After the match, Johnny Nitro was viciously assaulted by a mystery man. Who was this mystery attacker?

Kid Kash won the Cruiserweight Title in a Fatal-Four Way Cruiserweight Invitational, by defeating Scotty 2 Hotty, Super Crazy and Gregory Helms. Kash was estatic after his win, showing it during his interview with Todd Grisham.

Also, Lashley continued his unbeaten run by defeating Booker T with the Spear and the Dominator.

Kurt Angle deafeated US Champion J.B.L, Chris Benoit & Randy Orton

Dalip Singh Released

Dalip Singh has been released by WWE SmackDown. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.

This is one of the worst diaries I've ever read. Put a bit of effort into it, for crying out loud. You have chopped, and changed things, without explanation, at all. Jericho is back? Why and when did he return? No explanation, he's threw into the deep end. JBL is US champion in January? Erm, no he wasn't..

Seriously, this is just gay, all over.

EDIT: Dalip was released? Without even appearing?

Right, I'm using Breaking Barriers 8, in which Jericho & Storm are NOT contracted to WWE. And I don't wanna use Dalip Singh because he's too crap, and will ruin my ratings. I edited with Hex Editor the date, so all the data is from around Wrestlemania time, but it is in January. OK, i should have specified these things, I am sorry.

Sorry if it sucks so much, don't read it if it does!

Also, most of these things i've mentioned beforehand are just random, these didn't happen. They are only for fued purpses.

EDIT: I'll post the Power 25

Power 25- January 8, 2006

1) Finlay- After winning the World Heavyweight Title, Finlay is a man to be taken seriously for sure

2) John Cena- After losing to Y2J, Cena all of a sudden doesn't look to dangerous

3) Rey Mysterio- After beaing defeated by Finlay and losing his title, Rey could be going downhill

4) Chris Jericho- Resigning, beating Cena and being awarded the NO#1 contendership by Dusty Rhodes, a great week for Y2J

5) Kurt Angle- Winning the US title for the first time, Angle is looking impressive, and could hold the gold for a long time

6) Rob Van Dam- Going into the Royal Rumble as Co-No#1 contender, RVD has a great chance of his first WWE Title victory

7) Edge- The R-Rated Superstar isn't the No#1 contender, but he could still be on the IC title trail

8) Chavito Heat- The only remainder of Los Guerreros, Chavito won the Intercontinental Title, and could be destined for great things, like his uncle Eddie

9) John Bradshaw Layfield- J.B.L lost his title to Kurt Angle, and could be losing his way on SmackDown

10) MNM- A sucessful defence against London & Kendrick, MNM are the most impressive team on the roster. But with Johnny Nitro being assaulted, will they be able to defend their titles?

11) Kid Kash- The New Cruiserweight Champion, Kid Kash is looking to prove he has what it takes in the WWE

12) Lashley- Still undefeated, will anyone topple Lashley?

13) Umaga- Since debuting, Umaga has made Shawn Michaels' life a living hell. At the Rumble, will Umaga and his cousin, Kimo, destroy Michaels again?

14) Shawn Michaels- A win by dq against the returning Lance Storm, who will partner Shawn at the Royal Rumble?

15) Kane & Big Show- The fiersome team of Kane & Big Show could destroy Cade & Murdoch next week on RAW. Can they be stopped?

16) Carlito- Good win against The Conman, will he gain the edge in his fued with Ric Flair?

17) Shelton Benjamin- After losing to Chavito on RAW, will Shelton bounce back in time for the Royal Rumble Match?

18) The Spirit Squad- Kenny & Mikey got their asses handed to them by Kane & Big Show. Will they defend their title against The Cowboys or The Monsters?

19) Booker T- After being defeated by Lashley, can he get back on the US Title trail?

20) The Undertaker- After distracting J.B.L enough for him to lose, will the deadman set his sights on the Money Tycoon?

21) Randy Orton- Didn't win, but was impressive on SmackDown!

22) Eugene- Despite promising the IC title, Eugene couldn't deliver and was defeated by Chavito

23) Lance Storm- After coming out of retirment, Storm couldn't win, but certainly did well in his return

24) Chris Masters- Failed to make an impact in the Fatal-Four Way, but could be on his way to winning the gold

25) London & Kendrick- Despite losing, they are still impressive enough to cause MNM some real problems

Farewell to:

Dalip Singh: Released by the WWE, Dalip will not be featuring on the Power 25 soon

Triple H: After picking up an injury last month, The Game will miss the immediate future

Orlando Jordan: After being sent to Rehab, OJ will be out for a few months

Watch out for:

Kimo: The cousin of Umaga, will the Wild Samoan be able to beat Shawn Michaels?

Mystery Man: Who was the mystery man that attacked Johnny Nitro? We could find out soon.

TNA/WWE News: Ron Killings, Christopher Daniels, Chuck Palumbo, more.

by Dave Meltzer

Ron Killings and Christopher Daniels have both left TNA, opting to join WWE. Both had open contracts, and asked for terminations early today. This could be bad news, as Daniels and Killings were both very popular superstars.

The WWE has recalled Chuck Palumbo from OVW, probably sparking an FBI reunion, with Nunzio, who could be made Little Guido, and Big Vito, who could become Big Guido.

It says on the Hardy Boyz myspace that Jeff Hardy has resigned for the WWE, possibly sparking off a Hardy Boyz reunion. It is, however, more likely that Jeff will be a heel when he returns.

Charlie Haas confirmed on his website that WWE got in touch, but his Japanese commitments are too much.

Brawl for All

January 9, 2006

During RAW, General Manager Dusty Rhodes announced the main event tonight would be John Cena defending his WWE title against Rob Van Dam. In the main event, John Cena had the match wrapped up, hitting the F-U on RVD, and applied the STF-U, until Chris Jericho ran down the aisle, attacking the Champ and causing a DQ. Afterwards, whilst Y2J continued the assault, Rob Van Dam, angry about losing by DQ, attacked Y2J with a vicious Spinning Heel Kick, knocking him out. With Jericho down, RVD jumped to the top rope and performed the Five-Star Frog Splash on the self proclaimed 'ayatollah of Rock & Rollah.' RVD left, with a satisfied grin on his face.

Dusty also announced a triple threat match for the No#30 entrance in the Royal Rumble. The match was between Shawn Michaels, Edge and the Mystery Man from SmackDown! Much to Michaels' and Edge's dismay, it turned out to be 'The Worlds Most Dangerous Man' Ken Shamrock. After a minute of action, Shamrock had already applied the Ankle Lock, causing Edge to tap out. Shamrock now has the greatest chance of all in the Royal Rumble Match.

Also on RAW, Umaga crushed Eugene with a Thumb-Spike and a huge Top Rope Splash. But his cousin, Kimo, didn't have such luck against the legendary Canadian Lance Storm. Storm accidentally whipped Kimo into the referee, which caused Jack Doan to fall unconciess. This brought out HBK, who struck Kimo with 2 Sweet Chin Music's, followed by a Calgary Kick by Lance Storm, giving him the victory. After the match, HBK grabbed a micropone, and announced that his Tag Team Partner at Royal Rumble will be none other that Samoan Legend Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka.

Backstage, Ashley Massaro and Trish Stratus were talking before Trish's match against Mickie James, when Mickie overheard Ashley comment on her sanity. This caused a vicious verbal attack by the Psycho Diva, who then smiled lightly at Trish Stratus. During the match, Mickie hit the Mick Kick on Trish, giving her the pinfall victory. After the match, Ashley came to check up on the knocked-out diva, when Mickie snapped and destroyed both of them. After the incident, Dusty Rhodes announced that Ashley Massaro will take on Mickie James for the Women's title at the Royal Rumble. Will Trish's prodigy take down the psycho diva? Tune in on January 22nd to find out.

Results

WWE Champion John Cena defeated Rob Van Dam by DQ (title match)

Ken Shamrock defeated Edge & Shawn Michaels by submission (triple threat)

Women's Champion Mickie James defeated Trish Stratus by pinfall (title match)

Lance Storm defeated Kimo by pinfall

Umaga defeated Eugene by pinfall

The Long way out

January 13, 2006

In the main event on SmackDown!, The Undertaker defeated Finlay by Disqualification when Mark Henry interfered and destroyed Taker. After hitting the Tombstone Piledriver, Taker was about to pin Finlay, when Henry appeared from knowhere, destroying The Phenom with the Worlds Strongest Slam and the Worlds Strongest Splash. After the match, General Manager Theodore Long announced that Mark Henry was fired from SmackDown! because of his actions. This led to Mark Henry & Daivari brutally assaulting Teddy Long, causing the paramedics to tend to his injuries. Will Teddy Long and The Undertaker be on SmackDown! next week, or will they have sustained serious injuries? Tune in next week to find out!

During the event, Teddy Long announced that Hollywood Hogan would face US Champion Kurt Angle in a non-title match. During that match, Kurt Angle knocked the referee down, bringing Rey Mysterio to the ring. Mysterio levelled Hogan with a brutal chairshot, giving Angle a chance to hit the Anglesault on Hogan. After the match, Angle and Mysterio celebrated together, showing their apparant master plan had worked.

Paul London & Brian Kenrick won their first Tag Team Titles, as they defeated Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury of MNM. During the contest, MNM had London set up for the Snapshot, when Nitro slipped and dropped London onto Mercury, giving them the upset victory. After the match, Nitro and Melina were furious at Mercury, telling him that the loss was his fault. This was followed by an attack by the two, unofficially splitting MNM up.

Gangrel made his WWE return, as did Chuck Palumbo, in a 6 man tag team match between the Full Blooded Italians versus The Mexicools & Gangrel. Late on in the match, Little Guido nailed Super Crazy with a steel chair, as Big Guido did to Psychosis. This led to Chuck Palumbo hitting the Italian Stalion Kick on Gangrel, giving him the victory. After the match, the FBI made it clear that they wanted to bring an end to Rey Mysterio, saying that Italians hated Mexicans.

Walls of Trust

January 16, 2006

Heading into the Royal Rumble, Y2J Chris Jericho & Rob Van Dam destroyed John Cena in a Handicap match, afterwhich Jericho & RVD shook hands, obviously signalling a treaty between the two. During the match, RVD hit a Super Kick on John Cena, which gave Y2J a chance to lock in the Walls of Jericho, which Cena tapped out to. Will RVD & Y2J coexist on Sunday? Or will arrogant champ John Cena prevail against the odds? Tune in on Sunday to find out!

Ken Shamrock showed why he is The World's Most Dangerous Man going into the Royal Rumble match, fending off Carlito & The Masterpiece Chris Masters in Carlito's Cabana. Carlito asked some particularly enfuriating questions to ask, and Ken Shamrock attacked him. The Masterpiece ran in to help Carlito, which led to the first of two Handicap matches of the night. It was over in less than a minute, with Shamrock destroying both men with a flurry of Belly to Belly Suplexes, followed by the Ankle Lock on Carlito, to which he tapped out. Does this prove That Ken Shamrock is indestructable? It may well do.

Mickie James continued to prove her hatred towards Ashley Massaro, by setting Vince's Devils (Candice Michelle, Victoria & Torrie Wilson) to attack her backstage, levelling her with a steel chair. Ashley was left out cold, when Mickie stood over Ashley, laughing maniacally, and stating that the plan was her idea, when she kicked Ashley in the head. Will Mickie come down to earth at the Royal Rumble? Or will she continue to live on cloud 9? Tune in on Sunday to find out!

'The Superfly' Jimmy Snuka defeated debutant Christopher Daniels, hitting the Superfly Splash from the top rope to gain the victory. After the match, HBK & Superfly talked about their upcoming victory this Sunday at the Royal Rumble. They were full of confidence, and mentioned that Kimo has yet to win in the WWE. Will he end that streak on Sunday, or will the legends continue their dominance?

In the opening match, two debutants, Colt Cabana & Frankie 'The Future' Kazarian battle against each other in an evenly matched contest, which saw Cabana score the victory with a quick School Boy Roll Up. Cabana celebrated his first victory in the WWE, whilst Kazarian looked on in dispair.

Results

Rob Van Dam & Chris Jericho defeated John Cena by submission in a Handicap Match

Jimmy Snuka defeated Christopher Daniels by pinfall

Ken Shamrock defeated Masters & Carlito by submission in a Handicap Match

Colt Cabana defeated Frankie Kazarian by pinfall

Alright, you're probably going to think that I am an ass or something but I do think I should tell you that I do believe that you did not follow Lost Souls advice, it still is choppy, you really did not explain why Jericho and Storm came back to the company, as we do know which is fact that Storm wouldn't want to work a full WWE schedule. So if you could open your backstory up more to explain why this happened, it would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe another thing you can do is add spaces in between match writeups, maybe some bolding and color would help too.. not trying to sound like an ass but if you do these things, it will get a little bit better, with the work on your spelling and grammar, this will be an okay diary.

Feel the RKO

January 20, 2006

Without a General Manager, all hell broke loose on SmackDown this week. The Undertaker, who still has a broken arm, challenged Mark Henry, who had been fired from SmackDown, to a match tonight. Instead, it was Randy Orton who accepted the challenge, making the match at the Royal Rumble. Randy Orton, who decided that he was the head authority for the night, made the injured Undertaker fight both Mark Henry and Hollywood Hogan tonight in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

During the match, the Undertaker took an early advantage, hitting Hogan with the Old School and locking the Dragon Sleeper on Mark Henry, when Randy Orton ran to the ring and hit the RKO on Taker, causing a DQ victory for The Undertaker. After the match, the three men pounded The Deadman, with Hogan hitting the Big Leg Drop and Henry hitting the World's Strongest Splash from the top rope. The Undertaker was left for dead, when Orton celebrated over the Deadman, showing no fear going into the Royal Rumble.

Yoshihiro Tajiri won the WWE U.S. Title in a triple threat match against Birchall and Kurt Angle. After Angle hit the Angle Slam on Birchall, Tajiri sprayed Angle with the Green Mist, following it up with the Buzzsaw Kick to the face, giving him the victory. After the match, the Japanese Buzzsaw showed his obvious delight, speaking in in seemingly joyfull Japanese.

Also in the show, Gregory Helms won the Cruiserweight title, defeating Kid Kash and Funaki in an elimination triple threat match. Despite Kid Kash's dominance, Mr. Ken Kennedy interfered on behalf of Helms, nailing Kash with the Kenton Bomb. After the match, Helms and Kennedy, calling themselves 'Ego-Trip,' talked about their future dominance in the WWE. I can only see great thinks for this Tag Team.

London & Kendrick defended their WWE Tag Team Titles against Chuck Palumbo & Little Guido of the FBI and The Mexicools in a three way elimination match. Chuck hit the Italian Stalion Kick on Psychosis, getting the pinfall, but immediatly after that, Little Guido was hit with the Dropsault by London, gaining the sucessful title defense for London & Kendrick.

Results

The Undertaker defeated Mark Henry & Hollywood Hogan by disqualification (Handicap Match)

Yoshihiro Tajiri defeated US Champion Kurt Angle & Birchall by pinfall (Tajiri gains title)

London & Kenrick defeated The Full Blooded Italians & The Mexicools by pinfall (London & Kenrick retain)

Gregory Helms defeated Kid Kash & Funaki by pinfall (Gregory Helms gains title)
