The Movies worth getting?

Simple, is it any good?

I've seen it cheap second hand a few times today, and was interested in maybe picking it up.

If it's cheap, then yeah, I'd pick it up. It's a decent game, but not fantastic, though it's been awhile since I looked into either the mod community, or the incoming expansion pack, so it might be better now than it was when it came out.

Very in-depth game, but yet, also shallow. A decent comparison would be a movie version of EWR and Zeus Pro. You can create and edit a lot of things, yet you can see it all fairly quickly.

It's a good $20 or so game, but no more.

There's an expansion pack coming out that lets you do stunts and a few other things. You'll be able to do some really good car chases, for one thing.

The only thing I hate is downloading add-ons. You have to earn credits and use them to `buy' official downloads, and its a pain. You earn credits by uploading your movies to the official website and having people vote on them. The more votes you get, the more credits you earn.

I uploaded 1 movie and advertised it at several places, but only got one lousy vote. And I need a shitload of credits to download a new set that I want.

Expansion pack ("Stunts & Effects") is due out the 6th of this month in the States, the 9th of June in Europe.
