We are going to take every team out and make out way to the top of the division. We are here for one reason, well two reasons. First thing is of course we want to win the tag titles and be the most dominant team on Smackdown! Hell, the most dominant team in this business. The second thing is... we can finally hold our heads up high and not worry about Jeff Jarrett taking all the glory or the damn X division taking all the thunder. We are here and we are here to stay, so watch out Smackdown!"

Just think of this as the pre PPV show.

Lance Hoyt vs. Matt Striker

Hoyt entered the ring and this is a very big guy. Next out came the school teacher Matt Striker. Hoyt took it to Striker hip tossing him almost to the other side of the ring. Striker tried to come off the top rope with a cross body, but Hoyt caught him and slammed him to the ring. Hoyt stood back and waited for him to stand. Hoyt then took him out with the Boot from Hell!! He picked him up and then hit him with the Blackout and picked the easy victory. Remember this is just a dark match.

Winner: Lance Hoyt
