Quebec City Jumping Frogs?

In Britain, 'frog' is an offensive slang term for a Frenchman. So I can see why it would be offensive to Quebeccers...

Well yeah, I mean I know it's the same here... the owner just said in an interview that young people today dins it funny, I was wondering if said was true.

Remember the thread in the Lounge a few weeks back that Cloudy started about certain four-letter words losing their meaning after a while? I think 'frog' fits into that category. Older people (50+) find it ridiculously offensive, but I would guess that once you get closer to our age, it's about as bad as calling someone from B.C. a pothead.

Now, if he was looking for edge, he should have gone with 'Quebec City Seperatists'....'Quebec PQs'...'Quebec Basketball Presented By The FLQ'...something along those lines.

I hate the annoying way of spelling "Quebecois" in the one logo. I guess it's to make it easy to pronounce for non-French people? But even the way it's spelled there, it won't come out right. Anyways, it just looks stupid.
