TNA Impact! Preview - 12-28-04

This week on Impact is the second half of the first round of the Shane Douglas Invitation Only Tag Team Tournament. Two more first round matches will take place this Thursday night, and when they are completed only four teams will remain in the hunt for a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Championship.

Last week Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner where both absent from Impact! This week both men have gaurenteed to be in the building, and neither man seems to be finished with the other. Will tempers flare this week on Impact!?, or will cooler heads prevail?

The #1 Contender for the NWA Championship, Samoa Joe, has told TNAwrestling.com that he will be in attendance this Thursday night, and he plans on calling out Jeff Jarrett. Will the "King of the Mountain" find away into The #1 contenders head?

LAX has something to say, and they will address the Impact Zone crowd this week on Impact! After retaining the titles against Team 3D at Turning Point, what's next for the NWA World Tag Team Champions and thier sadistic leader?

Following the beatdown of Team 3D's Brother Ray at the hands of his own brother Runt, and "The Monster" Abyss last week, TNA has requested to speak with Brother Runt about it. Runt declined to make any official comments, but said he would address the situation more this week on Impact!
