Ok, so the brawl with 'Thug U' and FIU was pretty crazy (reminded me of San Diego St in the mid 90's). Something I'd expect from Miami, but what I didn't expect was what FIU has done.

FIU does things right

What the University has done might seem harsh to quite a few, but I feel that it is absolutely the right message. This hardly happens in the college ranks and I can't profess how much I love what FIU had done.

highlights -

all fiu coaches and players must undergo 10 hours anger management and 50 hours community service

two players dismissed, 16 players suspended indefinately

Every college athletic program should pin this article in the disciplinary office
