Has anyone read The Hellbound Heart? Or any of Clive Barker's novels, for that matter?

I'm trying to find out from someone who read them if they're worth reading, because my interest has been sparked, but I it isn't at the point where I'm ready to go out and buy anything yet.

Clive Barker is a simply amazing writer. His Books Of Blood series of short stories are amongst the greatest short stories ever. In America they were retitled, but still quite easy to find. I also highly recommend The Books Of The Art,The Great And Secret Show and Everville. Just brilliance.

So yes, read anything and everything by Barker.
