Splinter Cell Double Agent

Anybody got this yet?

I picked it up the other day, andI'm enjoying it so far. I've loved all the splinter cell games so far and this only tweaks the formula slightly, but just enough to make it seem new.

Seriously though, sneaking around a cargo ship in a monstrous blizzard, picking off the crew one by one without being detected is one of the only genuine thrills I've had from a video game for a while.

I'm surprised there isn't more about this game on here... but I dunno. I had Chaos Theory for a while, and I liked it and all... but something about the way that the game controlled just seemed so robotic.

I'm not a big fan of the previous Splinter Cell games, and I've only played the online demo, but the motions for the spies in it just seems so fluid and just so natural that I'm going to have to give the full game a try soon.

I got it on release, haven't spent much time with it. I've just done the mission at the hotel. I do like the the stuff you have to do at the JBA's base. Gives you the feeling you're actually a spy this time around.

I got my copy through SpyRing, it's one of those FanPimp type things. It is supposed to be shipped to me by the end of the week, can't wait to get it

I also received a free copy through the Fan Pimp site. Since it'll probably take a few weeks before I actually get my copy, I'll just have to wait around for it. Not complaining though, I like free stuff.

Apsham, the game does have a tendency to be kinda robotic, and linear. You have to get everything just right or everythng goes wrong for you. But the fun comes when you do get everything just right.
