It's fun. You basically have to hit switches to open the door and go through it to complete the level (and there are often other switches to open other barriers so that you can get to the door), whilst avoiding robots, robots with sensors, monsters, mines and homing missiles. And collect gold to give you more time.

It's awesomely addictive, I completed it a while ago, after like 6 months non-stop playing. Now I just need to do it again.
