I'm at the part where you have to break into the shop owners safe. I watch him open it and get the combination and ask himmto go and find the swordmaster for me. While he's gone I try to input the combination , but when I use pull and push the direction of the handle doesn't change and it's making it impossible to open to the safe.

I'm trying to stay away from faqs as long as i can and so far I've stuck to that , but this is driving me insane.

any help will be appreciated

I figured pulling would make it go a different direction but that didn't work so i tried doing it from the other side but he kept going back to the left side

I've never had that problem in the million times I've played that game.

The only thing I can think of is that you're pushing and pulling the safe instead of the handle.

thats what I thought as well. just tried it again and the handle is definitely moving when I push or pull it. I might try restarting a new game and see if that helps

I started a new game and everything worked fine. Just beat the game. Can't believe this was the first time for me to play it. very enjoyable
