The Bourne Ultimatum

Just got back from seeing the Bourne Ultimatum...

Let me first say, I absolutely loved the first two Bourne movies, and had high expectations. Well, those expectations were met!! Possibly EXCEEDED!! Way better than Simpsons Movie <_< Great action scenes, plus the way they were able to mix in stuff was done just as well, if not better, than the first two. Also loved that the ending from the second one was actually half way through this one. Loved the stuff with Nikki, too, and Pamela Landy's character development was awesome.

Just awesome all around, HOWEVER, I'm one of those annoying people who obsesses over the little things that most people don't think about. Like what happens to Nikki and Bourne/Webb after he survives at the end. Also, with what happened to the CIA agents, does Landy get a promotion??

Though, like the friends I went with, they said who gives a hoot, it was a good movie, and they are right. It was awesome, and the ending left me able to make my own conclusions.

ANYWAY, two thumbs up, anyone else see it/other Bourne movies and love 'em?

I saw the movie, and I loved it. It was the perfect way to end the series, I think. It answered almost all of the questions that it should have, and it left a little bit open at the end just in case they decide to add on to the trilogy sometime in the future. Great movie, though. It started off a bit slow in my opinion, but after a little while it just got...tense.

You don't have to see the first two movies to understand this one. It's been a while since I've watched the first two and I was fine, and the people I went with hadn't seen the others at all and they were still able to understand what was going on.

Have to know, any spoilers in this thread thus far?

I mentioned Bourne survived at the end, and that Landy should get promoted (hence saying something about the rest of the CIA getting in trouble)...hey, kiss my bum ;)

Here ya go, how great was the scene where the assassin was trying to get Nikki and he jumped from building to building to get to her? Or the scene where Bourne keeps the journalist from getting killed until the very end when he thinks he knows whats better than Bourne, ugh. Oooo, oooo, and how about that same assassin letting Bourne go at the end when he jumps into the river??

Better ;)

Just got back, great film. Hadn't seen the first two before because I thought they'd be the sort of shallow, run of the mill action films I generally dislike, but my mate protested and when I heard the third one was coming out I decided to watch the first two. Watched them both this week and I love the entire series. Fantastic.

I liked the ending, as B-Rad said it lets you draw your own conclusions.

Great film, and the best Bourne film which is saying a lot since the other two were very good. This film was a great way to end the series, and like casino royale it was more about the characters (Landy, Bourne and others) then just the action.

I just got back and I enjoyed it. Thats about all I have to say! I don't toally LOVE the Bourne movies, but they have all been good and Ultimatum is no exception. I love how Bourne is in endless crashes and always walks off with so much as a scratch!

But yeah, enjoyable film.
