And speaking of Slog, I'm able/willing to start the Cavemen RPG relatively shortly. I'm just wondering whether people will still sign up to jump in after it's started (and whether I'd want them to)

You don't post characters in mine. People cannot know anything about your character until you actually meet them.

OK that's more than enough waiting. Caveman begins, and if anybody else wants in they had best haul ass to get a signup posted, because once skills start becoming unlocked I'm closing signups for it (it just doesn't seem fair that four guys play and earn skills and unlock them only to have some schmo sign up and get all those bonuses handed to him to make him comparably balanced)
