I have Dish.

I like it.

I mean, we had to get another, seperate dish for our local channels, but that is probably because we live out in the sticks. But otherwise, I've got no beef with Dish.

I've had the Dish Network for about 4 years now. The pricing is excellent. I don't think my monthly fee has gone up more than $5 total since I got it. The one bad thing that's happened since I've had it was that whole mess with the Comcast owned channels but that was worked out after a few days. Another thing to keep in mind is that weather can affect your reception at times.

If DirectTV doesn't go out in bad weather, perhaps you should go with that.

Because as Bruins stated, Dish tends to go out in bad weather.

Comcast Digital Cable > Satallite TV.

Satallite TV sucks ass. Does DirecTV or Dish Network have the greatness that is On Demand? I don't think so.

On Demand is the one thing about Comcast that I'd like. That would be pretty convenient. It's not enough to make me deal with the rest of their crap though.

Comcast is on my shit list right now. We've got Comcast high speed internet at work and they've been jerking me around.

What is "On Demand"?

basically, its a Video On Demand program. You can watch movies that HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, and all those channels are shwoing that month any time you want and you can watch their shows too. Theres also programs from cable channels like MTV, Cartoon Network, Nick, and so on. It is pretty cool. I like it
