Why do they only have 2 types of names?

1) Named like a kid who lives in a mansion on a shitty teen drama...

eg. Paige, Pendleton, Atwood, Portman, Levin, Milloy etc.

2) Have cheesy 'slogan' styled name, that 'rolls off the tongue'...

Four Year Strong, Me Vs Hero, All Time Low, Set Your Goals, All Or Nothing etc.

WHY!!!!!!!! JUST THINK OF A FUCKING NAME THAT BREAKS THE TREND!!!!

Or it might have just been a silly observation that doesn't really mean much (but is true, as I can't really think of any pop-punk band in the current crop that doesn't fit in any of the two catagories...there's bound to be a few though, just I can't think of them straight off), seeing as I like most bands there, and have been pimping 4 of them (Four Year Strong, Paige, Pendleton, Me Vs Hero) as fucking awesome.

As I always say, who gives a toss what the name is so long as they play good music, who'd have thought the most acclaimed band in the world would be an incorrectly spelt animal that eats others plants and animals waste?

The Seegulls? o_O

Blink 182, Motion City Soundtrack, Metro Station, Houston Calls, go:AUDIO, Punchline, Halifax, Quietdrive, Over It, Amber Pacific.

I guess a couple of those would come under your second rule, but your second rule is so broad, fucking anything could come under it, so I took slogan to mean three words or greater.
