So in my everlong quest to gain new music all the time...I've hit a bit of a roadblock.

So with that, I've come to EWB for help.

In terms of what, well I'm not really bothered at the moment but here a few bands that I've been listening to recently that I've liked so perhaps that'll lead into some new stuff?

The Black Angels

Black Mountain

Dead Meadow

Death From Above 1979

Genghis Tron

Massive Attack

One Day As A Lion

Ratatat

Taint (lol one of the worst names ever)

Torche

So doesn't necessarily have to be in the vein of any of those bands but it gives you an idea as to what I've been into lately.

This Town Needs Guns (Indie-Emo)

Mike Hale (Acoustic)

Styrofoam (Electro-Pop)

Four Year Strong (Melodic Hardcore/Power-Pop)

Paige (mega cheesy Pop-Punk)

Pendleton (Skate-Punk/Pop-Punk/Rock)

Me vs Hero (Melodic Hardcore/Power-Pop)

Jack's Mannequin (Piano Rock/Indie)

Matt Pryor (Acoustic/Folk)

Here's a few, you'll probably have heard some of them:

Chrome Hoof (Doom/Disco/Funk Metal)

Morphine ("Low rock" - two-string bass, sax and drums, and sounds like pure fucking sex)

Nadja (Boy-girl ambient drone-y rock stuff)

Burning Witch (incredible doom band, somewhere between the equally brilliant Thorr's Hammer and SunnO))) in the career of Messr O'Malley)

Comets On Fire (vaguely psychedelic rock, something like Black Mountain)

The Smackdown! (Mental wrestling-based spazzy electro grindcore nonsense)

Naked City (John Zorn-led phenomenal avant-garde jazz/metal/grindcore/everything band)

Edison Glass

The School

Me Vs Hero (Double pimpage, only heard a few things but really good)

The Action Design

Drive By Argument

Rilo Kiley

All The Above

Biffy Clyro (I'm sure you may have heard stuff, but they are great, so just in case).
