The "power violence" group (whatever that means) started by Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw) and Geoff Rickly (Thursday). They uploaded one song to their MySpace tonight/this morning, but I can't seem to find it due to them completely redesigning their page. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be on the torrents later today. But, yeah, anyone else psyched for this album (September 9th)? I'm a big fan of Glassjaw and Thursday, so I have high hopes for this project.

That said, Glassjaw's new album needs to be completed and released, like, yesterday. Goddamnit.

Power violence is supposed to be a cousin of punk similar to grindcore. Frankly, I find it to be a fucking dumb term and why they don't just call it what it is - fucking grindcore, most of the time - is beyond me.
