Apparently I'm Going to Glastonbury?

I'm going to six festivals this summer with the potential for two or three more because I can't get enough of festivals, yet I'd never want to go to Glastonbury - it just looks way too big. What's the point of walking forty minutes to get from one stage to another, only to see an act dodging 15m flags and looking like ants?

Now Bestival, that looks like fun.

The most sketchist festival I worked this summer had to be Gatecrasher in Northamptonshire. Some old boy died in one of the tents during my nightshift and everyone was so fucked off pills it was almost impossible to do your job, i remember trying to help this girl find her tent and she was so gone she could not remember anything about it whatsoever, she thought it was either, blue, red or green and in a field. Then it rained the second night...and its held in the same field as where the British GP emergency carpark was in 2000 - which got flooded and cars got stuck. Yep, it was dreadful, tents washed away. Nasty atmosphere generally too, although some guy offered me some coke to stay awake.

I can imagine as a punter it was cool, the more fucked the better though. It was just horrible to work, I thought Isle of Wight festival was the best for us lot. We got all your confiscated beer hahaha. So, yeah thanks for that >_>

Grrrr....

According to eFestivals Blur are playing the Sunday. I have pretty much guaranteed free tickets for the Sunday, but Blur can fuck off. I want Springsteen or Young. Then my plan was to try hard to get free tickets for the other day, or at worst pay for day tickets. Now this has ruined rumouredly spoilt this opportunity. I now have to bank on my mother being one of the vendor's there and getting a weekend ticket.

I hate Blur and Michael Eavis.

...Also 90% of tickets already sold? Why are people buying tickets before anyone is announced? You might get Kings of Leon and The Verve again. Fucking hippies.
