1. Wilt Chamberlain--Absolutely SICK numbers that no basketball player will ever approach again. 50 points and 25 rebounds PER GAME in 1962? Uh-uh, never again.

2. Bill Russell--Absolutely SICK winning record that no basketball player will ever approach again. 11 championships in 13 years? Uh-uh, never again.

3. Walter Payton--Was the original all-purpose offensive threat in the NFL. Not only did he hold the rushing record until Emmitt came along, but he was a trick-play machine like no one else until Tomlinson. Jim Brown and Barry Sanders didn't throw eight TD passes like Sweetness did.

4. Willie Mays--One of only two players with 3200 hits, 600 home runs, and 2000 runs scored...and Hank Aaron didn't steal 338 bases.

5. Cy Young--His name is synonymous with pitching excellence, since the award is now named after him. 511 wins is another record that isn't ever going to be touched. Hell, we may never see many more 300-game winners, let alone 500.

2. Diego Maradona - because he was awesome

3. George Best - extremely talented player

4. Kenny Dalglish - I'm a Liverpool fan... he's a Liverpool man. Shocking rhyme. I'm sorry.

5. Bill Shankly - See above
