Good Hockey and Basketball Simulation games

I've recently found my old copy of Eastside Hockey Manager 07 but it crashed when i booted it up on my vista so now i'm looking for some alternatives. Does anyone know any decent GM type games for Basketball and Hockey. Free is where I'm aiming at but if there's a really good one for a price I'll give it a look. Thanks!!

I think EHM is the best hockey manager you will find. If there is a better one out there, I don't know it.

EHM is most definitely the best for hockey. Basketball's a little trickier...there was a decent college sim out there by the name of Tournament Dreams, but it's gonna be tough to find now that .400 is out of business. Also it had a weird bug where after a few years, the NCT regions would be all out of whack (Arizona in the East, Syracuse in the South)...

i found a online basketball simulator after doing a quick search on google.

If EHM isn't booting up, you could try the 2005 edition. I believe it's freeware by now.

There's also a freeware version that was created prior to the NHL:EHM series. It has a little less functionality, but it is free.

Ive heard nothing of EHM 05 being free. Did that really happen? Also, Ive got fooball mogul 2007 new in the box.. I doubt ill ever play it. If it has a serial I could give it to anybody who wants it.
