So the playoffs match ups are set. In the East we have:

1. Chicago Bulls vs 8. Indiana Pacers

4. Orlando Magic vs 5. Atlanta Hawks

3. Boston Celtics vs 6. New York Knicks

2. Miami Heat vs 7. Philadelphia 76ers.

And in the West...

1. San Antonio Spurs vs 8. Memphis Grizzlies

4. Oklahoma City Thunder vs 5. Denver Nuggets

3. Dallas Mavericks vs 6. Portland Trail Blazers

2. Los Angeles Lakers vs 7. New Orleans Hornets

Predictions anyone?

I'm the world's biggest Knicks fan but unless Boston get's a major injury and The big three plus Landry or someone else steps up big, I don't see it happening. Now if we faced Miami it'd be upset time With that said...

1. Chicago Bulls vs 8. Indiana Pacers 5 Games. They're too good

4. Orlando Magic vs 5. Atlanta Hawks 4 Games Hinrich helps but not that much

3. Boston Celtics vs 6. New York Knicks 6 Games Next year is a different story

2. Miami Heat vs 7. Philadelphia 76ers. 7 Games I say sixers give them a surprise fight

Chicago vs. Orlando 6 Games Dwight gets shut down

Boston vs. Miami 6 Games They're too smart, Miami is way too inconsistent

Chicago vs. Boston. Boston's game is defense and Chicago is a better defensive team. On onfense it is Rondo trying to run the break on defense, Chicago

knows how to stop the break

West

1. San Antonio Spurs vs 8. Memphis Grizzlies 4 games No explanation needed

4. Oklahoma City Thunder vs 5. Denver Nuggets 5 Games. They don't have a leader

3. Dallas Mavericks vs 6. Portland Trail Blazers 7 games Mavs just don't show up in the playoffs

2. Los Angeles Lakers vs 7. New Orleans Hornets 6 Games. meh

San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder 7 Games. They're too talented from head to toe

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trailblazers 6 Game There nice little run ends

Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder 7 Games Two words....Kendrick Perkins

Finals

Bulls vs. Thunder 5 games tough choice went with Durant because I think Durant over Dengis a better matchup than Rose vs. Westbrook

1. Chicago Bulls vs 8. Indiana Pacers - 4-0 - I just don't see Indiana doing anything in this series... I do think the Bulls are only an injury away from been a nothing team in the playoffs but I'll see them over Indiana with ease...

4. Orlando Magic vs 5. Atlanta Hawks - 4-1 - Atlanta is in a real funk right now and whilst they looked good against Orlando in the regular season, I think Orlando will just be way too much for them again this playoff series...

3. Boston Celtics vs 6. New York Knicks - 4-2 - I had Boston winning the whole thing in my preseason predictions I think... I think the Knicks will be hard to stop if they show up with the right mentality for the playoffs and I think they'll surprise Boston in this first round series...

2. Miami Heat vs 7. Philadelphia 76ers - 4-0 - Philadelphia were the only team I didn't have making the top 8 in the East this year, stupid Milwaukee, and I think Miami will be way too strong for them here too...

1. Chicago Bulls vs 4. Orlando Magic - 4-3 - I think this will be a great series and I think Orlando will definately surprise the Bulls and take the final game in Chicago... Chicago are still probably a year away from winning the thing, even though they finished the season with the top record...

2. Miami Heat vs. 6. New York Knicks - 4-2 - I'm thinking an all Florida Eastern Conference Final here... Miami will have everything together for the playoffs and will be damn hard to stop... New York will just be overwhelmed and will think themselves lucky lasting 6 games...

4. Orlando Magic vs 2. Miami Heat - 4-2 - I don't know why, I just see Miami making the NBA Finals and even though I dislike the team, I think they'll get it done in the East... I don't even know if Orlando will be able to take 2 games against them but I think that Dwight will be there only problem in this series...

And in the West...

1. San Antonio Spurs vs 8. Memphis Grizzlies - 4-2 - Gonna call the upset of the first round here... Grizzlies to knock out the Spurs behind some tough gritty team play...

4. Oklahoma City Thunder vs 5. Denver Nuggets - 4-1 - The new Denver is good but Oklahoma City is so much better... Durant & Westbrook will stamp thier dominance over this years playoffs... Should be some close games though in this series but the Thunder pull it out...

3. Dallas Mavericks vs 6. Portland Trail Blazers - 4-2 - After some poor exits in previous seasons, I'm hoping Dallas can do something this year... I like both teams here but I think Dallas has more strike power that will come alive for this playoff series... I wouldn't be shocked though to see Portland get a 4-2 series win though either...

2. Los Angeles Lakers vs 7. New Orleans Hornets - 4-0 - Hornets are crap... Lakers get the easiest route in the playoffs this year...

8. Memphis Grizzlies vs 4. Oklahoma City Thunder - 4-1 - Thunder to continue thier dominance... No Rudy Gay is really going to hurt the Grizzlies in this series...

3. Dallas Mavericks vs Los Angeles Lakers - 4-1 - I'd much prefer to see the Lakers already gone but I think they'll get past Dallas here... If Portland get through, I could see the Lakers having more trouble with them though than they would the Mavs...

4. Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers - 4-2 - I think both teams match up well but Oklahoma will be more hungrier for it than the Lakers... Plus the Lakers will be a little banged up by now I reckon... Durant and Co. to meet the Heat in the NBA Finals...

Miami Heat def. Oklahoma City Thunder - 4-3 - Close series all the way... Miami's big three will be too much to handle though and the title will be back in Miami...

As much as I don't want to see most of this happen, this is what I think will happen :(

That was quite a comeback, Indiana showed a lot but they just didn't match up once the Bulls finally decided to start trying Derrick Rose took over.

Fixed that for you. That game today showed why Rose deserves to win the MVP. The guy missed all 9 threes he took and still dominated the game in basically every facet in the second half of the 4th quarter. Indiana controlled the game for about 47 minutes and if they're lucky they'll stretch this one to 5 now.

What a weird day. I think its safe to say that it will never happen again, Ginobli and Duncan won't allow it, Kobe won't allow it, and most of all David Stern won't allow it.

My friend and I did have a funny scenario where the Hornets would be up 3-2 in the series and David Stern runs out on the court in the 1st quarter of Game 6 when the Lakers are up 7-5 and yells "Ring the fucking bell!" It sounded sadly believable.
