This is the thread where we share our appreciation for versions of songs other than the studio versions. Got any particular favorite live recordings? A favorite BBC or Peel Sessions? Did you unearth some killer demos or bootlegs?

My first exposure to Bad Brains was actually their Omega Sessions, it has my favorite recording of I Against I on it, fucking brilliant.

On Motorhead's box set Stone Deaf Forever, they have quite possibly my favorite recording by them ever. It's a little tune called Black Leather Jacket recorded at some TV station, think of it as Motorhead's take on 50s rock and roll. It's great.

Oh and feel free to throw EP's in here if you'd like because I just reminded myself that I love the Buzzcock's Spiral Scratch EP, it's the best work they've ever done.
