TEW05 Real World Update: February 2013

Recommended Posts

So obviously I planned on releasing somewhat of a preview where I would highlight some changes but I had a really busy end of January. When it comes down to it these are the big changes that have been made compared to the last update.

And please, if you have any issue with Rapidshare please let me know. Never set up this amount of files, so I am expecting a few errors on that.

General Changes

- The Mexico and Japan regions have undergone quite the overhaul when it comes to talent, signed workers and popularity of workers.

- You will notice some workers named "___ Booker". This is just a test month to see how it goes. With some promotions, if the owner and booker are the same person, they will go out and hire. This results in some workers being stolen from WWE developmental. An example, before I implemented this change it was almost a given that Chris Hero would leave the WWE, or NXT, before you could sign him to a written deal as he became the head booker somewhere else. Again, this idea is just a test. I look forward to hearing feedback on it, and of course it can easily be removed.

- And one last thing, promotions can be easily added and I have no problem doing so. If you don't see a promotion you would like to be added just let me know and I'll take a look.

Ok good to hear, sorry for the trouble. Enjoy!

Seems to work fine now.

I really should of checked you knew the basics of doing these before D-Day.

Are you kidding me? Trial by fire was a great way to go

Pro Wrestling EVE is in danger of being removed at this point. They have run just over a dozen shows in their history, and only ran three shows total last year. Unless there is a strong push to keep it, it will probably be gone for the March update.

Their a niche promotion along with Shimmer and NCW Femme Fatales, and with 12 shows over 3 years roughly do the same amount of shows a year Shimmer do (Shimmer do 2 shows over 2 weekends a year so 4 shows covering 8 volumes a year).

Well that thought came from Eve only running 6 matches on their last show. Admitting I'm not that involved in following women's wrestling, especially British women's wrestling. Looking back Eve does run about the same amount of matches per card as Shimmer (Around 10-12). Obviously the size of the promotions is a big factor in that as well.

If it is the case that Eve runs the same "schedule" so to speak that Shimmer does, then it will stay. Otherwise, I don't view a 3 show a year promotion as one that should be added. NCW has actually ran less shows in their history than Eve.
