What is your tolerance level? (injuries/deaths/etc)

I once passed out at the sight of a paper cut. Nasty business.

I have a weird thing where if I have an open cut and I apply cold water to it, I pass out immediately. Can't explain it, I'm not squeamish and it's not a pain thing but it happened to me twice at school, once on a head wound and once when I tore my thumbnail partly off.

I've never seen a death live before so no idea how I'd tolerate it, but I'm virtually unphased by injuries. Other than wincing/cringing/going urgh I don't have any problems.

It's VERY weird with me. Budd Dwyer's suicide? Vague twinge, nothing more. Deep cut on my thumb from poor knife skills? HOLY FUCK STOP BLEEDING I'M FREAKING OUT.

I was going to say the same thing. I barely flinched at the video of Budd Dwyer, I finished the whole video. Sometimes, though, if there are things like really deep cuts or things where you can properly see the bone in the breaking of arms/legs/whatever, then I'm not too good with that. I can easily watch basically everything on r/watchpeopledie, which is an awful, awful subreddit.

Oh, I saw a video of JFK's death and that was gross. I watched it, sure, but bleuurghh.

I imagine I wouldn't be able to cope with the stuff if I was actually there to see something like it in person, though.
