Just to let all UK WWE fans know that from Thursday, both No Way Out 2004 and Wrestlemania XX on VHS will be reduced to £5.99. Not sure about DVDs at the moment, didn't get a chance to have a look at that list, but I'll post up when I find anything out. I'm pretty sure this offer covers all of the UK.

If you don't plan on getting the DVD, there's no reason not to buy the WMXX video. As for No Way Out, it was really a crummy show, with one excellent match (Eddie-Brock), one good match (Chavo-Rey), one so-so match (Angle-Show-Cena), and four shitty matches. Personally, I'd get the "Eddie Guerrero: Cheating Death, Stealing Life" DVD, which has the Brock match as an extra.

I've already got Wrestlemania XX on DVD...

And I watched No Way Out live, but I fell asleep and miss the last one and a half matches. :pinch: I missed Eddie's title win dammit!!!

Wait a minute ... you were watching the show live, but fell asleep ... okay, that happens, but why didn't you tape it? Not taping it makes no sense.

I was at my Uni halls, where they have one public Sky-capable TV. It doesn't have a VCR.

It's better than being back home now with no Sky at all. :(

Sorry to say that no WWE DVDs are in the sale, but there's a lot of stuff that's reduced quite a bit, the highlight of which is the Alien Quadrilogy 9-DVD set, previously £70, which will be selling for £29.99.

I didn't see WMXX live (No SKY Sports), but read about it on the net (The Torch). I decided that I'd get the DVD just to see the main event & the deadman's return.

As a show it was average at best. The main matches were of a high standard, but the bottom end was packed with as many people as could, just trying to get them on the show. The only 'lower' match I thought was any good was Y2J v Christian.

As a DVD it was dissapointing, especially with WWE's brilliant history for extras. Despite being on three discs there were no extra matches (Well there was a Heat match  ). Throwing in some of the WM top 10 would have been nice, rather than just highlights. Even just two or three of the matches. However the Mania of WM documentaries are brilliant. Filmed at WM19 they are, along with the highlingts of WM top 10 (Just to say 'those were the good old days'), the only extras worth watching.

In summary I wouldn't buy the VHS unless I hadn't seen the event, and even then I wouldn't pay more than £3 for it. That price could've been a hefty £4, if they hadn't made Foley job to Orton.

Well there was no point in Foley winning the match.... that's all i will say as this is not The Ring.

I will consider maybe getting the DVD one day.... only if i find it second hand though, like i do with all my wrestling videos.
