(Meredith) -- Police in Asheville, North Carolina confirmed to media outlets that NBC actor Harry Anderson was found dead in his home Monday morning. He was 65 years old.

Anderson was famous for his acting role as Judge Harry Stone on "Night Court."

Foul play is not suspected according to officials.
