I think Liverpool (I'm a United fan so you can take what I say with the necessary pinch of salt), can rectify all their PR disasters over the last couple of seasons by moving Suarez on with as little noise, and for as much money as they can get. They stood by him time and time again, wrongly a few times, and he's repaid that by publicly stating he wants to leave. The team looks to have been making big strides towards the end of the season and if they can use the money they get to bring in someone who can score the same amount of goals with half the fuss they can continue to do so. Negredo or Saldado would be good signings although I can see Spurs sniffing around one or maybe both of those.

Yeah signing Veron was an example of a player with a big reputation not living up to his fee. Signing Allen was overpaying for potential that wasn't delivered (but obviously still could be). Bebe was just... God knows.

For some reason I can't see Kagawa or Van Persie starting, Kagawa is possibly t' more likely of t' two to do so, probably in place of Giggs.

That's a strange call, Villa are one of those teams I never consider for Europe or Relegation, but I think they'll be stronger if any thing this year, especially with Darren Bent back fit.

Well I honestly didn't think the RVP deal would happen. I've got mixed feelings, torn between the "OMG RVP" hyped reaction of us actually signing a world class player in his prime. And the cynacism that comes with spending so much on a player I don't think we need, who has no sell on potential, and has a pretty torrid injury record.

That's a good price for Modric, for both parties I think
