Yea, I stole Biggz format.
Atlantic Coast Conference
Boston College
Clemson University
Duke
Florida State
Georgia Tech
Maryland
Miami
North Carolina
North Carolina State
Virginia
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest
Virginia Tech's the powerhouse here and the usual candidates will be there: Miami, Florida State, Clemson. But the sleeper pick of them all is going to be Georgia Tech, who should finally have a quarterback with some accuracy and they should be able to move the ball well, even after losing Calvin Johnson. That said, I think they end up being the runner up.
ACC Champion: Virginia Tech
Big East Conference
Cincinnati
Connecticut
Louisville
Pittsburgh
Rutgers
South Florida
Syracuse
West Virginia
It's funny that Biggz mentioned South Florida because they're the team I like the most in this conference. They've been building that program steadily and they're almost there. The match up I'm most anticipating is West Virginia playing AT South Florida, a game I think USF will win. Rutgers has a steady ground attack with Ray Rice and they're out to prove they're legit. Louisville's got perhaps the best pro qb prospect in Brohm, but it's just not enough.
Big East Champion: Rutgers
Big Ten Conference
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Michigan
Michigan State
Minnesota
Northwestern
Ohio State
Pennsylvania State
Purdue
Wisconsin
Ohio State and Iowa (who doesn't play Michigan or Ohio State) are both scary teams and Purdue's going to get a big upset this year, probably at home against Notre Dame, but the two front runners for me are Wisconsin and Michigan. I just think Michigan has too much fire power on offense and too good of a defensive coordinator in Ron English to not get it done.
Big Ten Champion: Michigan
Big Twelve Conference
Colorado
Iowa State
Kansas
Kansas State
Missouri
Nebraska
Baylor
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas
Texas A&M
Texas Tech
Not a lot to talk about here. Like Biggz said, Texas/Oklahoma plays Nebraska. I think Nebraska goes all the way here though.
Big Twelve Champion: Nebraska
Pacific Ten Conference
Arizona
Arizona State
California
Oregon
Oregon State
Stanford
UCLA
Southern California
Washington
Washington State
USC is the easy choice here, only because nobody else is really stepping it up in the conference right now and Oregon has a tough schedule, going to hte Big House. That said, Oregon also gets to host USC and they will win that game. It won't be enough to stop the Trojans, but it will at least provide a nice shake-up.
Pacific Ten Champion: Southern California
Southeastern Conference
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Alabama
Arkansas
Auburn University
Louisiana State
Mississippi
Mississippi State
You can make a legit case for probably eight of these teams to win the SEC. I don't Tebow's going to be consistent enough for Florida, I don't think Georgia has the offensive weapons, and Tennessee's still got quarterback issues. Alabama has Saban, but that's going to take more than this year. I think it really comes down to who has the best player, that one player who can elevate a team to another level when need be. That man is Darren McFadden.
Southeastern Conference Champion: Arkansas
I'm not going to bother with the bowl predictions, but I will predict the national title game in somewhat of a surprise. For me, Michigan's the sure thing. Biggzay may have been first, but I'll jump on the bandwagon. Nebraska beats USC in week two and rides that momentum all the way to an undefeated Big 12 season, which is good enough to get them to the big game. But loyalty forces me to pick against them and go with Michigan as the national champs.
BCS National Championship: Michigan d. Nebraska
Heisman Trophy Winner: Darren McFadden over Colt Brennan, Mario Manningham, Ray Rice, and Marlon Lucky

Anyone who has this for the 360, can you let me know what the rushing stats are like? I just got an awesome deal on a 360 and will be looking at either buying Madden or NCAA, but I don't wanna run into the same problem I had with Madden on regular xbox.
-
I don't think you can. At least not on the regular xbox.
Last year in the NFL, 1 RB had over 350 carries. 1 season on Madden, 21 running backs have over 350 carries, including 9 with more than Larry Johnson's league leading 418 last year. Craziness.
-
This is why there were 8 backs over 1900 yards and 3 over 2000 in my season. The back-ups don't get any carries.
-
The problem with the RB1/Rb2 feature is EA set up RB2 as the fullback. It makes no absolute sense at all. Which is why you see some FB's getting insane amounts of carries each season.
So to counter this problem, just go to the depth chart and put your number to RB to FB

Anyone else having simming issues? I'm testing out the Lions and even with the philosophy set at 50/50 for RB1/RB2, whichever back I have starting is getting every carry. Kevin Jones had 45 attempts in one game while Bell had none. And if I move Bryson to fullback (I have Beverly starting currently), he ends up splitting the carries with the starting halfback, but still nothing from the backup halfback. Just curious if anyone is having similar experiences or may have a solution of sorts?

I assume that you don't have the Acc. Clock on?

I did update my sliders, based on a set I found on some Madden forums that are apparently pretty popular. They made my game tough and I'm only on all-pro at this point. First time in years I've actually felt real good competition from Madden, I love that.
Any chance I could get those posted or PMed?
-
Sliders don't effect the sims, far as I know at least.

And here's my first major problem with Madden. I started a franchise with the Titans because they seem to be a great re-building project. Sim the first couple games just to see what kinda stats'll pop up...Vince Young rushes for over 100 yards in each game. So I simmed the entire season, he ended up with 1900 rushing yards and 15 TD's. Things like that just kill the game for me. I mean, sure, he'll pick up some decent rushing yards here and there, but 1900? C'mon. So annoying.
What system did you get Madden for?
On the 360 version, or at least in my game, neither Young or Vick passed 800 yards rushing. In fact, Vick had the same amount of rushing yards as JP Losman now that I look.

I had originally planned on having a 360 by the time Madden came out, but I still see people complaining about it for 360, missing features and such, so I'll prolly just pick it up for the regular xbox.
The only complaint I seem to always have about Madden is how you never seem to max out on the cap. You can sign free agent after free agent and build a great team and still have cap room left over. At least in my experience. If I don't limit myself, it just ends up too easy in franchise mode sometimes.

Nobody is saying that Bonds doesn't belong in the Hall of FameGame of Shawdows, read it.Yellow Journalism.
Yeah, all that flimsy "grand jury testimony."
The people who say "cheating is cheating".....what do you say to the fact that there are people who've admitted to cheating currently in the HOF? -
When exactly did JD become associated with failure? Going back to the Kris Kross days, dude's done nothing but made money. Da Brat, Bow Wow, Jagged Edge. He worked on Usher's Confessions album, the top album of 2004. He worked on Mariah Carey's Emancipation album, the top album of 2005. Even Janet's 20 Y.O. album at least went gold, which was disappointing because it's Janet, but still quite respectable in the industry. You can laugh at the ultimate success of J-Kwon and Dem Franchise Boyz, but both had chart topping singles that made good money. Even this year, he put in work on the new Bone Thugs album, including the Lil L.O.V.E. track that peaked at #17 on the billboard charts. There's a reason why his name is one of the three being discussed to replace Jay-Z if Jigga does leave.

Just because a dog loses doesn't mean they have to kill it in a horrible manner. I'm not an expert, but I do know of people who have fought dogs before and they never did anything like this, if a dog lost, they simply let the dog heal and either would let him fight later on or never again. Granted, they weren't high rollers or even people who did it for betting, but it's an example.
Also, if two dogs are fighting in a pit, a dog will quit by not attacking anymore and running away, I've seen it on the footage we've been shown in dog fighting. So while it doesn't "tap out" or "hold up a white flag" as the examples you used to mock me, it is obvious when a dog refuses to fight back and runs away that it's thrown in the towel.

Yes! 0-0 at the end of full time, and in the end we win 4-0! Awesome definitions from Isla and Vidangossy. Horrible discipline from Nigeria, 6 yellow cards and a red card. They should also be taught about fair play.
Still, we have a very good chance of winning the cup, IMO, and we still haven't conceded a single goal in the whole tournament.
Also Austria managed to beat USA 2-1 and the Czech Republic beat Spain 4-3 in penalties.

I haven't heard the whole album, but we just released our first issue of country remixes and had Ticks on there, which is great. Also, I think I heard some song about choosing fishing over his woman, but dunno if it's him or not. If it is, that song's worth a laugh as well.

Fifa 07' was the first soccer/football game I had played in a few years and I was blown away by the depth. 22 leagues with 510 teams was just insane, but that's what I look for in games. Plus the actual gameplay was fantastic, though I don't really have anything to compare it to. Definately looking forward to 08' and already put my money down to reserve a copy at Gamestop.

The Bulls would need to give up both two of either Gordon, Deng, or Tyrus Thomas. If it's Tyrus Thomas, they'd probably have to give even more. Still, the Bulls would have enough pieces (namely a PG in Hinrich and a Center in Ben Wallace) that Kobe would still be happy.
Why? If the Lakers refuse to do anything, Kobe is going to want out. If he decides that he wants to go to Chicago and will veto any other trade, do you really think the Lakers would let Kobe sit? The Bulls can offer as much as any other team and it's a place Kobe wants to go.

It's probably the only show on t.v I still watch every single week, so to me, it is the best show on television. I liked this season. There were a few episodes in there that weren't as good, but that's okay. You can't have a great show every week. Like I told TGC earlier, the finale didn't really seem like a season finale, but as a show it was good.

I like the NFL draft formula. If a team is shit, a team is shit. They need help, and a good player will help them.
But isn't that unfair to the really bad teams who don't decide to tank at the end of the year and instead aim to please their fans? Plus the NFL has 16 games, the NBA 82. Teams have a much longer time to know when they're out of playoff contention and a much easier time to tank in the NBA than in the NFL.
