  2. I've been wondering that as well. Forget which ref it was but I was BJ Penn playing against my friend. I get him in rubber guard and pound on his face. he's trying to counter and get better position but within a few seconds we are stood up
  3. I wish Herb Dean was unlockable as a fighter so i could kick his ass for ruining my match. Playing through title defense mode using Anderson Silva. Tore through D,C,B,and part of A block. next up I face Chris Leben come out and instantly get the Muay Thai clinch. I start pounding Leben's face with my knees. One more knee should have rocked him but Dean pulls us apart. I go to jab Leben and get plastered with a hook ko'ing me. talk about pissed.
  4. is there a way to start a career with a caf created in the main c.a.f mode ? Also thinking of doing all judo fighter which stats should I focus on at the start and any camp suggestions
  5. What is everyone's fastest KO. I was just on the losing side of a 11 second KO. I was Tank Abbot against Kimbo. he rushes up and goes for a strong right I block it and try to respond in kind only to take a strong left dropping me like a sack of potatoes
  6. don't know of a specific tutorial per say but looking at it I would say on the background layer you have the woman's face desaturated on a few layers above the background layer you have your textures set to a blend mode that fits the mood you are going for. in that picture looks like the texture around the eyes are set to hard light. then on another layer you can do the brushing with some grunge brushes. they eyes can be tough to get right but with some cloning and use of the dodge and burn tool you can get the similar effect

  8. do you go into a fight with low conditioning or high fatigued ? I'm thinking that's what is happening to me because I'm not fatigued but my condition is 70 and I've lost 8 fights in a row. For some reason my conditioning not getting better. I may retire this fighter early and delete him because something is off with him not sure what. He's got great power and good punching skills but when i try to stand up i get murdered. he has 70 in sub offense and has only subbed 3 people. is clinch is his best and i use it a lot in fights but usually I will work the clinch throughout the fight only to caught late in the third with a sub or ko
  9. I wish the buttons option was in as well. i have gotten a few submissions. Make sure your submission offense is pretty high. I wok the body the first round by the second one body kick rocks them and knocks them down. or I do a throw to side control and it rocks them then I slap on an armbar and I press in the right stick and hold it for a bit and release. if I have enough stamina I'll sink the armbar in. Pressing in only seems to work on the armbar though can't get it to work for other submissions so I'm forced to shine and even though i think I'm doing good my guy just releases the hold
  10. Right now doing career as Lightweight . Working on increasing my muay thai clinch then will focus on the ground game. what are some good gyms that focus on muay thai ?
  11. I'm wondering is it possible to learn all the moves within a camp? also when will the announcer stop saying I'm a boxer and street fighter ?

  13. I've noticed the difference as well while training. I think when your fatigue gets to a certain level it considers you injured and your training,sparring,and camps suffer from what I can tell

  15. heard it again from the start but the dj never said the title or artist. Picked out more lyrics and I know for sure this phrase is correct couldn't get the rest though. Still no luck with google. me and some friends checked the songs on the playlist but none fit. here's the phrase I heard "fifty five goons on the move headed to your town we hope a nigga wants to act a fool"
  16. Did he get any offense in or block some of your attempts ? Were you fatigued before you sparred ? Have you upgraded your sparring partner? If he blocks or get offense in you lose points and if you are tired coming in you won't get as much. Generally with the first sparring partner using auto spar with no fatigue I get 14 points
  17. I guess so first time seeing anything like that in the game. it's like I'm cursed when fighting him. have yet to beat him in any mode
  18. wtf? was just fighting Brock in career . sustained and neutralized his takedowns in the 1st and 2nd rounds. bell rings for the 3rd I come out to touch gloves and he throws a huge punch that hits me in the middle of my chest for an f'n KO what the hell?
  19. Yeah I get slammed alot too sometimes i get lucky and flick the right stick in time to stop or reverse it but it's rare
  20. oh didn't know it could be downloaded lol I need to move out of the boonies so i can get connected swaying only works for me in tutorial mode in a match though I get nothing. i think if I could get it to work it would stop some of these losses
  21. anyone else going to recreate tonight ppv in event mode? I'm in the process of setting it up the matches that i can't do I'm just filling with suitable fights I'd like to see. once it's done I'll post the results
  22. are you gassing yourself when you transition. I have tendency to get impatient and start attempting transition after transition with the computer blocking each one and when i finally get in an ok position I'm fodder for the submission. I've found that i I lay on top of them throw some weak punches(not a lot) and try a minor transition. if it's blocked I remain calm throw a few more punches and try again.if the transition is successful I hold the left analog stick to the left while trying another minor transition. For me holding left keeps the opponent from breaking free for a little bit. with my personal caf. I like to get into side control throw a few knees rest fire off some punches rest and try to transition to the other side and knee some more after that I rest and throw some weak punches before trying to get mount. if I get mount I posture up and unload a few heavy strikes. to block a clinch and etc flick the right stick toward or away from your opponent. if you have trouble with submissions try playing a few exhibition matches with the stamina bar on. fight like you normally would and watch your bar. After one round i saw just how bad I was gassing myself with transitions. Since I figured it out my caf has gotten 5 subs in a row in title mode with the side control armbar. work the stomach and the ribs during the opening moments of the match. throw in some strikes to the head and leg kicks to keep them guessing. close to the end of round world a kick to the gut or a slam will rock them then I slap on the armbar and charge the sub for the tapout
  23. yeah if you don't work a stat within 2 weeks it will start to degrade as far as I can tell
  24. yeah it's not Ransom as I hear it almost daily lol doubt it's a remix but you can never tell. thanks for the link didn't see that on the front page when looked so thanks again. maybe I'll get lucky and find it in the list.
  25. has anyone played as Shaq yet ? I haven't gotten the code to work. Also what all was added/fixed in the recent patch ? If it's anything major I'll have to find a way to download it. according to people over at mma-caf.com a stats glitch has been found. I've tried it on PS3 but the stats stay the same. the only cool thing is you can go in and fill in your techniques in case you missed a move you wanted from one of the camps. How do you guys manage to have time to go to camps so much. I only get a few chances through the years because I'm either having to train,spar or rest.
