Hey, just a quick question, didn't really think it warranted it's own thread but didn't wanna highjack anyone elses but anyway at Christmas I'm getting an Xbox 360 and I was wondering whether it would be worth getting Xbox Live when I've only got a 512k connection and if I were to upgrade it what speed would suffice so I'm not lagging?? I most likely will be getting Assasins Creed, Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 to begin with just incase you were interested, thanks!

I would assume you go through the door just like on the previous versions of the game (I don't really play cage matches so can't say for certain) but just irish whip your opponent into the corner with the door (bottom left I think) then just intiate a grapple and you should superplex your opponent then a mini game will come up with a meter (the same as when you're climbing out) and your opponent should have one, yours must always be higher than your opponents to escape otherwise they will drag you back into the middle of the ring. Hopefully that wasn't too badly explained and it actually helped.

Also for the December to Dismember PPV I did them matches had all the hardcore matches weeks before that but no injuries because Jeff Hardy teh rockzzzz~!!111!! Also there is a storyline in which they re-instate the hardcore title, I simmed a whole year to see what would happen and was checking random results from the year and noticed I had won the Hardcore title but then lost it to Lashley, anyone played this storyline?? Is it any good??

Man this sucks and it just sounds to of happened without any explanation or warning which probably makes it harder for those around him, I was a big Hawthorne Heights fan and I hope they continue out of respect to the work Casey put into the music as well, RIP.

Its $500,000 a YEAR, that contract, cos I got the progress thing when Coach e-mailed me saying i was now on $500,000 a year, yet was still on like, 16 grand a week or something

Does anyone know how to get a pay rise yet when playing as a superstar because I got a raise to $16,000 about a month before Wrestlemania became the WWE and WH Champion and then decided to jump to RAW to defend the gold over there and Coach put me back down to $10,000 and one of the progress stats is to sign a $500,000 contract and I have no idea how to do it!!

It's little things like that, that annoy me most about the game, say you are in a feud with Cena and they use the cutscene to introduce the show and your there been all friendly and shaking John Cena's hand... but that might just be me nit picking.

That was unlucky for Bent but he absolutly nailed that defender lol... ahh well, I'm not a huge fan so I'm not that bothered if we lose but it would be nice to see them go through.

Oh... things just got worse...

I went to see the film Stardust with the girlfriend (which I thought would be a gay film) but it's a film that could be overlooked by many and is yet very funny, the unicorn ramming the goat and sending it flying across the room just made me crack up so much, alot more that is should do. Also the film Superbad, I laughed so much during that film, just the entire film is immensly funny

Well I traded myself to Smackdown in frustration over fighting Johnny Nitro and Chris Masters over and over again then won the title on SD! eventually got traded back over... first match back? Tag team match against Edge and... MASTERS.... my tag team partner? Nitro... seriously... game testers could of at least pointed out the fact that the 24/7 mode matches get very repetitve!

I watched the episode and it was really funny, "I'm a woman in the prime of her life in need of some love squeezing!" classic Boosh, it was reallly good episode, hopefully a good start to a good series! Watch for the guy that comes into the shop, if you have seen previous series of the Mighty Boosh you may just recognise him!

I know that I was just wondering whether there is a way to improve my wage per show and there is... my contract on Smackdown ran out and they renewed it with a $6,000 pay rise... also I just won the WHC off Rey Rey after been in a last man standing match two nights before and Rey going on about how I'm so beat up I won't be able to beat him... sounds extremly like WWE burying their champions and now I'm onto the Survivor Series storyline, I actually enjoyed the Matt Hardy feud it had a few more movies and I got into it alot more than the previous fighting for a movie role storyline plus now I'm going out with Maria who keeps texting me every other day...

Anyone played the ECW storyline with Bobby Lashley sending you voice messages which sound like he's jerking one off whilst on the phone?? Down right disturbing...

Yea but I wish there was a way to get myself of $10,000 per show when in superstar mode so I didn't have to sim as much!

Yea but spamming right trigger has always worked... it's cos I'm lazy as I used to occasionaly play with a turbo controller and set L2 and R2 to turbo... ahh good days but yea, I started reversing more and won the match with a sleeper hold... to be honest I was more in a stress with the game when I wrote that post and may of taken the problem out of context just a little.

Another complaint I have is on legendary mode the rediculously high amounts of reversals by the comp and the extremely low amounts of reversals it allows you to do, I was tapping R2 for ages and Austin did about 7 strong grapple moves on me without me even reversing one (I was Bret Hart) I had to wait till an UCM before I could reverse, anyone else think this??

Yea I should have specified I'm playing in superstar mode... pfff, I just traded myself over to SD! only to start doing the storyline I've just done on RAW... stupid 24/7 mode! =/

Hey on 24/7 mode whilst playing as Jeff Hardy (i know, i'm a typical mark) when I go to his progress report on the laptop it constantly says he wants a release or to re-negotiate as he thinks he's getting extremly under paid ($10,000) anyone know how to re-negotiate or is it just not possible?

You might be thinking of a band like Hinder, Shinedown maybe even Alter Bridge at a push. All better than Nickelback (IMO) but can occasionally sound like them...

I for one am enjoying the fact they added the tournament mode that was included on the PSP on the 07 version and I really enjoyed so I was glad they brought it into the main versions of the game. Also I'm enjoying the new roster, Cryme Tyme, CM Punk, MVP, Jeff Hardy etc. were all CAWs on 07 for me so it's nice to have them in the main roster. However I don't like the new 24/7 mode, it's very weird and sort of seems botched to me, like said above, one week I'm in the fight for the number one contendership (against Cena so brings the question of who is the champ in 24/7, Orton??) and then I'm fighting Nitro and Carlito for a movie role... doesn't make sense to ignore the number one contendership and after I win a match the cutscene afterwards sometimes still plays it out as a loss?? And when fighting the tag champs not only do they not have the belts Cryme Tyme come out to seperate entrances... :/
