  1. Old topic, but I didn't wanna make a new one if it wasn't necessary. Anyone watch this show? I love it. I just finished the first season and am 2 episodes into the 2nd season, so no spoilers please :)

I've gotta say I thought the ending to Season 1 was very cliche and unoriginal tbh, but I liked it anyway.

  2. He'll be back next season. The Packers are the youngest team in the NFL, and with some playoff experience, they'll need him to guide them back. Aaron Rodgers won't do the trick I think. He's gonna be like the Jay Cutlers and the Alex Smiths of the world trying to fill in for great QBs.

  3. It will DEFINITELY be either Tampa Bay, Kansas City, New Orleans or Seattle at home. It's also DEFINITELY going to be AFC vs. NFC, which narrows it down to the following match-ups.

Tampa Bay vs. Oakland or San Diego

Kansas City vs. New Orleans or Tampa Bay

New Orleans vs. Oakland or San Diego

Seattle vs. New England or NY Jets

I wouldn't mind any of the Seahawks home game choices or Saints home game choices. The rest are meh.

  4. I'm not complaining. The Giants played a great game. I place the blame firmly on our running game and the secondary. Al Harris mostly. This looked much like the 4th and 26 Packers from a couple of years ago tonight. Subpar tackling and blown coverages.

    That said, go Giants.

  5. Does anyone think the Packers match up well against the Patriots?

Assuming this goes down, as a Packer fan, I think we match up very well except in one area. Our secondary has been regarded as top 5 in the league, but the lack of depth at corner could kill us. After Al Harris and Charles Woodson covering Moss and Stallworth, there's Jarred Bush trying to stop Wes Welker, and I just think that he'd be able to get those 8 yard gains every play that he's made a name for himself doing. Other than that, I think it'd be even at just about every other area, but the Packers have the edge in the running game.

  6. Here's the top 10 with personal comments in italics:

    1. Nightwish - Dark Passion Play (I agree, liked it lots. Would have been my #3 pick)

    2. Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (didn't hear this one - haven't been following DT since Train of Thought, which I didn't like)

    3. King Diamond - Give Me Your Soul... Please (didn't hear this either - the only KD I know is from the Dangerous Meeting compilation)

    4. Amorphis - Dark Waters (quite good, although maybe not as good as Eclipse and maybe not a top ten album)

    5. Behemoth - The Apostasy (haven't heard)

    6. Gamma Ray - Land of the Free pt 2 (one of my favourites - only second to the new Chris Caffery)

    7. Megadeth - United Abominations (didn't hear. Kind of haven't been into Megadeth that much for over a decade now. I remember listening to Youthanasia when it first came out...)

    8. Helloween - Gambling with the Devil (a very nice release, great solos, borderline top ten or maybe low teens)

    9. Iced Earth - Framing Armageddon (another good entry - quite a difficult release to get into though. I'd probably rank it just outside the top ten)

    10. Symphony X - Paradise Lost (didn't hear)

  7. Here's the top 10 with personal comments in italics:

    10. Symphony X - Paradise Lost (didn't hear)

    My top ten would be:

    1. Symphony X - Paradise Lost

    2. Novembre - The Blue

    3. Sear Bliss - The Arcane Odyssey

    4. 3 Inches of Blood - Fire Up the Blades

    5. Be`Lakor - The Frail Tide

    6. Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos

    7. Sanctity - Road to Bloodshed

  8. As a Packers fan, I'm not gonna make any excuses. It wasn't the injuries to Favre, Woodson, and KGB that hurt us the most. It was the penalties. Atari Bigby should be cut right now. ALL HE DOES is commit penalties.

Other than that, I was very proud of the real A-Rod, coming in and playing a very good game, but we just weren't the best team in the NFC last night. No problem, we'll be back.

  9. I'm not a HUGE Anselmo/Pantera fan, but I do enjoy listening to Down. Their first album was FAR better than their second. I've been meaning to check out the third, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
