  1. Face it. There's not enough love for metal on here >_>

I barely see the genre as a whole mentioned, and that must change <_<

So, to start it off, what are your three favorite metal bands?

    1. Metallica/Iron Maiden

    2. Nevermore

    3. Dream Theater

  2. I picked Piplup, and it just evolved after the first gym and got Metal Claw.

Shinx is very good as well, and my Starly is pretty good too.

Why don't they make any more badass early flying Pokemon? I always loved the way Spearow looked, and Pidgey looked cool too, but Starly just looks like a pussy compared to those two.

  3. If we're gonna plug bands, then I'll say listen to these guys. They're local, and I saw them live. The crowd lit up for them moreso than Cradle of Filth (the tickets were free <_<) and 3 Inches of Blood.

My brother's band, he's the bassist. I hate the vocals, personally, but their instrumental song is pretty good.

  4. Symphony X - Twilight in Olympus - 7.5/10

Pretty solid album, but I just can't seem to get into Symphony X. Maybe they're too slow, or something. They have a lot of talent, I just can't find a track that I could stick with and really enjoy from this album. I liked Divine Wings of Tragedy much better.

  5. Yeah, you should definitely try to check out the rest of the seasons. It gets alot better, except for the last season thus far. Seasons 2-5 are all great. (Season 3 has the best episode of the show.)
  6. Necrophagist - Onset of Putrefaction 1.5/10

The music was alright, but the vocals...*throws up*

Psycroptic - The Scepter of the Ancients - 0/10

Are my ears done bleeding yet?

    Suidakra - The Arcanum - 8/10

Very good vocals for a melodic death metal band. This was my first taste of them, and I really did enjoy them. Same with:

    Suidakra - Emprise to Avalon - 8/10

It really evokes an epic feel, like a lot of power metal, while it's really melodic death. This is an awesome band.

  7. Most of those bands are the type of power metal I really hate, and I wish diseases on each and every one of them. As far as the ones listed, I can only pretty much stomach Kamelot, Necrophagist and one Iced Earth album ("Horror Show", that is).

They have the worst vocals I've EVER heard.

    Ever.
