  1. So Stiva and I were talking yesterday about games for the Xbox 360, and he brought up this one. It comes out sometime in June, but it looks really cool.

There are some videos on there, and screenshots as well. The one thing is, I'm not sure if the unrealistic storyline will be accepted in my house. I'm Italian, and the game is about a hitman in the mafia who gains supernatural powers <_<

It really does seem cool, and it will be the first brand new game I pick up for the 360.

  2. Well yeah, I plan on adding the time and date in the text, and I'll try to incorporate the WWE logo somewhere in there.

The size, well I was trying to get it to be 500x200, but it would've distorted the image, and it just wasn't wide enough for me to get it like that.

    Thanks again :D

  3. Now I'm not completely lost using Photoshop, I just need a few tips and pointers. I already got a few from another forum, and this is what I could come up with for my next graphic.

It's incomplete, as it needs a border, text, etc., but I just wanted to post what I've gotten through so far to see if I'm on the right track. Thanks in advance.

  4. Yeah, this diary really looks awesome. A lot of detail put into this, but I really don't think it's that big of a deal that the ending was revealed. It seems like it's not so much of a diary as it is a story. If I saw this as a book (as the character in the diary does) then I'd still be compelled to read it. Same with The Death of WCW. I'll be reading, this seems really interesting.

  5. I agree with Yuan. Systematic Chaos is great other than Repentance, the boring 10-minute AA track. I particularly like the first two tracks (In the Presence of Enemies, pt. 1 and Forsaken) but I still haven't heard In the Presence of Enemies pt 2.

  6. I'm curious then, since this is the metal thread, what do you guys consider thrash, and what thrash do you guys like? I've been on a thrash kick, listening to stuff that has a sort of punk influence, and stuff that is just thrash brutality. Some of it is relatively obscure, but I also dig stuff resembling Venom, Kreator, Slayer, and stuff in that vein. I'm sort of looking toward recommendations and just general discussion.

Also, how do you guys feel about bands like Dying Fetus? I like Dying Fetus quite a bit, but don't particularly enjoy the death metal genre as a whole. One band that seems to fit in that mold that I do like is a group called Destroyer 666 from Australia.

  7. Yeah, the only black metal band I like is Dimmu Borgir. Their production is much better than a band like Emperor, and also, their clean vocalist is a very good alternative to the normal, raspy vocals that come with the genre.

  8. The Sopranos - "Walk Like a Man" 8.5/10

..Wow is all I can say. This episode set up perfectly the tornado of chaos going on in the final few episodes of the show. I won't release any spoilers, but, just wow. Another classic Paulie/Christopher feud episode, which was awesome, as usual. Great episode.

  9. RAtM are alright, can't say the same for System of a Down.

What are some well-known bands you guys have tried out, but have just not been able to get into? My major one would be Slayer, as previously mentioned. Others are Blind Guardian (although I do like them, I just don't think they're as great as people have said) and Judas Priest (way too generic, IMO).

  10. So, any people planning on going to any metal gigs in the near future? I'm hitting up a few Finnish festivals in June, so far the two shows have booked acts like Behemoth, Meshuggah (WHOOP), Emperor, Immortal (WHOOP) and Isis, so I'm pretty fucking stoked for both of them.
  11. Meh, the Misfits era sucks. I don't like the Misfits at all, and although I haven't heard much of Danzig, I can see that that band is great (unless they only have a few good songs <_<)

Is anyone here into Elvenking, or Tyr, or other folk metal? I just started to get into them, and I'm really liking this genre.
