The MOTWs haven't really been standing out for me in this series, and it was more of the same yeterday. As you said, the fanboy was funny, as were the Dean and the little girl with the chewing gum.

I feel like the over-arching mystery is going to be good though. As much as I though the show had had enough rape, the whodunit elements have been interesting. Still pretty annoying that the list of potential suspects is cut in half though.

Yeah, the Rooney suspension is a known bug. It'll be fixed in the foorthcoming patch, which I think should be out soon.

Ali Landry is the worst thing about that programme. I was irritated by the amount of time her wooden face was on screen, but it all made sense in the end. Where was Nathan?

Well fuck me if that wasn't one of the most amazing episodes I've seen. Screw them and their out-of-the-blue cliffhangers though.

Really enjoyed the episode yesterday, though I'm hoping the necessity for the pacemaker scheme is elaborated on. It seemed a little contrived just to sum it up with 'we did it to give you doubt.'

Adrian Pasdar still makes everyone on the show his bitch. What I love is that he just cheated on his wife and yet he's still so damn lovable.

I didn't like this episode compared to the previous ones. The hum-drum story of Matt's parents advanced his character, but just didn't interest me at all. Seemed very cliched to me, and the sappy piano overtones at the end killed any sense of reality for me.

Likewise, the improv storyline was a little forced. The guy playing the 'stereotypical' comedian was very good, but the writing for his bit was another example of the by-the-numbers comedy that's hit the programme so far.

I don't think I've ever seen Amanda Peet in anything before, but I'm compulsively attracted to her. I thought she did well in another sitcom-ish storyline. Still, I can't take my eyes off her so that's inevitable

I must say, I love the number of people saying "Team X are rubbish!".

Well there's only so much you can do when you're handed shit and no money to spend on them. In reality QPR are shit anyway.

Speaking of which...

A late run of form with QPR allowed me to make a late push for 13th in the Championship. The board have given me 500K to play with so I'm going to have to scout around Eastern Europe for some bargain players to strengthen to squad. It's just a shame that the ENTIRE squad needs revamping but I can get by with what I have now if I get some good additions.

I fully believe that I can push for a playoff place considering that I could have finished seventh in the last four games of the seven had my good run of form not been crushed by Cardiff. A defeat that withered away all morale from my team.

Yup, that's definitely been the case in my first season.
