I reckon there should be a dramatic acting poll and a comedic acting poll. They're different enough tasks, and it's just bizarre to see Will Ferrell on a list of top actors.

I have no idea who Ron Artest is. Besides which, this isn't a thread trying to prove that he's the biggest flop ever, let's just wrap ourself in the warm glow of the knowledge that he did flop.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this episode too. I laughed so hard when they were rehearsing the water-spitting bit, was excellent. Matthew Perry is just always funny, and there were a lot of well-done group moments in this episode. The nameless horde of writers disappearing is definitely a good thing for the show, and I too like the new writer. Really encouraging stuff.

Seems like total BBC TV expenditure is roughly £1.5bn, with BBC 1 taking just over £1bn of that. Since a season of Lost costs something like $70m, seems like the BBC has the resources to splash the cash every now and then, if they so choose.
EDIT: Robin Hood cost £8m apparently.

Yeah, I think 5-6 days total is the average turnaround. I've had mine for a year now and it's been fine, but my mate had the ring of death and got his replacement a week later (was over a weekend though.)

This is quite an interesting thread over at snopes.com.

Yeah, seems so - but something's definitely going on. There's still the original rapist from last season, and someone attacked Veronica in the episode before that.
-
Would it then suddenly cease to be a lump of crap?
-
Maybe that lump of crap will have some worthwhile games by then.

First person open-ended RPG. Luscious graphics and a pretty interesting storyline. The strength is absolutely massive world they've created, with hundreds of smaller villages, inns etc. filling in the space between the main cities. There are absolutely hundreds and hundreds of side quests apart from the main storyline, so many that I'm not even close to getting them all yet. The levelling up system is really simple to get to grips with, and is based on how often you use a certain skill rather than manually going through and messing around with lots of stats.

Definitely check out Oblivion, if it's even remotely the kind of game you're interested in. I've had hundreds of hours of gameplay from it and it's probably my favourite game for the 360 (having not played GoW yet.)

I don't like Piz for some reason. He's a bit of a Seth Cohen clone, I reckon. I hope he doesn't get it on with Veronica. In fact, he'd better be the rapist

They need to pull the trigger on Veronica and Wallace sooner rather than later.

And Microsoft will ... y'know ... pay them for the privilege? They wouldn't do it if it was going to lose them money, and they probably aren't banking on microtransactions either.
-
Yeah, O'Neil's definitely a good'un too. Just signed Alexis Sanchez from Udinese on a free. His crossing isn't great, but after a bit of training the rest of his stats go through the roof.

Am I the only person who hates how tabloids give celebrities stupid nicknames, like 'BritBrit'?

Assume you've looked at Vanden Borre, he's probably amongst the best in the game. Sherman Cardenas is a legend in this version of the game, and can be got for 750K at the beginning of the game. Also take a look at Luka Modric, Jeremy Menez, Jonathan de Guzman and Per Ciljian Skjelbred. Jesus Navas is awesome, but you probably can't get him for 10M.

Starfox 64 was amazing, true. That advert was unspeakably lame, though.

Yup, I can definitely echo the Danny love. He's the only character on the show I'll accept as a romantic interest for my lovely Jordan. Harriet is dire, and certainly the least funny member of the cast. Ditching her might actually make the sketches funny, but that's something which needs to be worked on immediately, since there's hardly anything amusing about the actual material they come up with.

My mind was made up by the destination of Halo 3.

Just to add a few not mentioned:
Bubbles from The Wire
Fry from Futurama
